I am doing better.. still a bit iffy, but much much better than I was! thanks! Ahh... yeah, since you are recording to MP4, you might have to go higher. MP4 I think is a bit compressed out of the box so to speak. At least on the few times I used that to record to, it seemed not nearly as good. Glad you are making headway!! Wondering what Taffey or Sara uses for stills.. though I am not sure what either uses for an editor either. I think Cog and Moley cheat and just do a screen grab when recording. Not sure how you do that on a mac. I think the way I do it makes a better image, but just a thought. Sunday sounds like a good day. Lemme know if you update again, but I am hoping to give it another play through soon. I sorta hate those fire jumps... lol.. but again.. they are way late in the level so it gives it a difficulty factor honestly. lol
Hi there Feeling any better? Played around with the pvr last night and am starting to get it. I think my bit rate needs to be a little above 8000 for it to look good and I had to drop the brightness and boost the contrast a bit. I posted an unlisted of the level on youtube with the earlier settings and it's washed out. Bummer. I also figured out how to get it to convert to mp4 before it shows up on the desktop! yay! Still shots I'm having to do in imovie by making a quicktime slide show of it. Can't figure out another way to do it. They look ok so far. I'll have to mess with those setting a little more. I think the level is ready to roll out. Thinking Sunday afternoon.

oh no... now what? It will be a bit. Still under the weather and takes awhile to fire up the laptop, tv blah blah blah.. It really sucks hooking that thing up, but after awhile you get used to it. Why I always tell folks when I have it hooked to jump now, because later I might not be so jumpy to hook it all up again. lol

No worries.. once you get the settings down, it is just a matter of hitting record and then hitting stop!
