It's a feature that has sadly not been added to the updated forums. It's a privilege that is earned by gaining XP and buying a bundle from the shop (which currently does not exist). Sorry. One day it may be back.

That would be a question for CC, as he makes all the decisions around here. I predict, though, that he will say that the current forums are sufficient for hardware related issues. No worries about the "in-your-face-y-ness." I understand.
Yeah, it was swweet's thread in general gaming...I didn't know if it needed to be in help or not, since i've seen quite a few hardware questions in the 'Help' thread...just trying to lend a hand. On the otherhand...would it be a worthwhile idea to have a subforum in 'Help' related to hardware, like the YLOD? Just a thought. I'm sorry if I sound really...err..uh...in your face about this, but I'm on this site waaaaaay too much...and I just want it to run as best as possible. hahaha anyway, sorry for pestering you, i'll be sure to provide you a link next time.
