  1. Hello hello. You must have caught me when I was lurking (when am I not) and forgot to sign off! I see the weekend has come and gone and the PPP house is still lacking your finessing touch! No no, I am not pressuring you at all, never would I do such a thing!

WKC2 is fun thank you, although... I am afraid the curse is starting again and I find myself mindlessly playing it for hours and hours way beyond my bedtime and it makes me cringe to think how much time I have already spent on it and how much time I will need to spend on it in the future! But, it is fun times. BD and I got to a few quests last week, it was great fun. *hint hint*
  2. Ooh, you're online! Hi - how's WKCII?

I second (third?) the cameo proposal too. I saw you'd done some cleaning in the PPP the other (phew, now I don't have to!). I've promised myself that I'm going to do a catch up post this weekend *hollow laughter all round*

    Anyway, *waves*
  3. Hi Boo! Thanks for the message. We got back on Monday

Nah, no bears. We kept meeting people who only the day before had seen a bear on a nearby trail but we never had an encounter ourselves. I have mixed feelings. On the one hand you feel like you're missing out (bear one-upmanship coming into play!) but on the other hand, yikes!

Yeah, we had a great time. There's some fantastic scenery out there. I'll post one or two (no more, I promise!) photos in the PPP when I've got round to downloading them.

Sorry, I see I missed your birthday Happy very belated birthday!
  4. Welcome home! Hope you had a fantastic time (no bears I presume? )!
  5. Aaaah, what a beautiful place it seems! A few years back I was in Sussex, visiting a friend and her mum, and we went to this wonderful..erm...country club (?) and got some nice fish n chips and a tall glass of Pimms (until I realized it had beer in it >.>). Had some nice pudding afterwards as well and then we drove over to Arundel castle and snooped around. It seemed like the Duke and his family still lived there, so it felt sort of odd, poking about someone's residence... -__- That is the extent of my "quaint" countryside experience but one I shall not forget any time soon. I gotta say though, London is so fabulous, I wish I could visit again. Next desired destination is Cornwall, and all for cream tea you see. I heard they had the best in the world.
  6. Quaint, indeed! Ha! Sounds like the sort of thing that goes on a biscuit tin lid! Mind you, this is where I was at the weekend so you may have a point!

Actually, there was a lot of sheep poo around and hawthorn flies too so may be quaint is the wrong word after all. Nature red in tooth and claw etc (and that's just my kids, lol).
  7. Ooooh, hello hello! Shropshire has deep, dark rural bits to it eh? The little bit of the English "countryside" I have seen was just so amazingly beautiful and... here it comes.. "quaint"!!! I have posted in PPP yes, I don't know if that constitutes a revival, but there is some nonsense there for your reading pleasure.

conditio sine qua non! *tags Lass*
  8. Hey ScoutsBoo! It was lovely to get back from my break in deepest, darkest, rural-est Shropshire to see a message from you! Is this a passing visit or will you be hanging around? Wow, does this mean a revival of the PPP???? That place will need some some dusting!

Anyway, I'm falling asleep here so I'll stop for now but it's great that you're back even if it is only for a while!

PS I feel I should dig out some creaky Latin tag in your honour but it's 1.30 am and I'm not up to it!
  9. Hey Lass. Haven't been on this forum in forever but just popped in because I miss cyber-peeping on my friends. :P Hope you are doing well.
