I don't use photo shop or gimp, so I don't know if tutorials would help me. I was just looking for the names of good fonts, since there's hundreds to chose from - I was wondering what some people's favorites were.
do you mean text tutorial or fonts? Fonts http://www.dafont.com/ if you need font tutorial i can give you it it is an amazing way to make fonts look awesome!
