he mentioned this morning in his reply that he will be looking for new software asap. and it seemed like he had decided on the host (forgot the name) when he was posting in LP yesterday. i'm guessing that the amount of time it will take is how smoothly vbulletin will convert information into the new software. i don't know what rnr's situation is, whether he works/goes to school and he's doing this on his own time, etc. so that will affect how much time this could take. if i find out anything new i'll relay the info to you.
Yeah hopefully, any idea how long it will take to get the new software? I would imagine a few days at least if not longer.
well, about 8:45 my time last night (-8 gmt) i had just replied to a thread when we got that anthrax front page again. it was like the first hack in that only the front page was affected. i immediately emailed all admins, but since it happened in the middle of the night in europe, rnr didn't get the message until early morning. he's taken down the site completely, will be getting new software and host as he had said before in LP. hopefully with the combination of new software plus a better more secure host, this nonsense will finally end.
Yeah, its annoying. Are we still being targeted by the hackers or is rKn still doing stuff to the site? I'm doing okay, just got in from School so just having a quick look to see if anything has changed.
hey, billy, feeling a bit like a refugee. we can't seem to keep a hold of our LBN home for very long. :P sort of wondering why we're being targeted. most hackers hack and move on. hope you're doing well.

just got an email from rnr. says it should be back up in another 30 minutes or so. he's doing some final cleaning up it looks like. was a little worried about his reply to your question though.
Yeah, came back up for a few minutes. Rollback was very far back, I posted a post in the LP and then when I refreshed the page about two mins later it was down again. Now its on some sort of directory.
were you suddenly not able to access the forum again just now?
