  1. That's fine, and it could be pretty interesting. It's not necessary for you to join a faction by the way, as being unaffiliated might suit your character's "I don't care who wins" attitude, but if you're up to it, joining a faction would be real cool. Currently, Sony's got 5 writers and 11 character, Microsoft's got 3 writers and 10 characters (some are more minor, squad agents) and Nintendo's got 3 writers and 3 characters. So, I guess I'd recommend you join Nintendo, if you're okay joining a faction. If not, that's cool too, but if you join Nintendo, it'll be easy for me to lend a helping hand since my character Drago is a Nintendo agent.
  2. Lol well I was thinking of making a character, a pyromaniac. Sorta like a "I don't care whose gonna win I just wanna watch you burn"type of character, you think I could do that?
  3. I've never seen it done, but I was only in Blackout. I'm sure burn marks could work, although you might wanna ask Merc just in case, I guess it depends how much detail you go into for it. Like I said before, I've never seen any line crossed before, so I'm not sure, but the basic idea sounds fine.
  4. But no fiery explosions where someones skin is peeling off, right?
  5. Hmm, well, I know this is a family website, although I'm pretty sure that the Console Wars is more lenient on a number of things. One writer, abyssalassassin, was pretty brutal to her own character Ziggy, getting her shot in the foot, breaking a rib, and getting paralyzed on multiple occasions. Headshots are fine, and even going into a bit of detail's about one's death is fine too. Bullet wounds, knife wounds, you name it. Your arm getting cut off, abyssalassasin did that with her character Dynamo. One writer, Sir Clayton, even went into detail about a test subject whose bones were sticking out of parts of her body. I've never seen anyone cross any boundaries as far as violence goes.
  6. LOL, you figured me out :P Though , do you know how violent we can get in TCW?
  7. OH, alright. Sorry, I thought you wanted to mix TLA with TCW, now I understand. xD
  8. I'll keep that in mind,and I meant Miss*
  9. So basically, you will have to collide with some writer's characters at some point, just make sure to ask them if it's okay and plan it out some before doing so. But this is your time to shine, so feel free to branch off whenever after colliding, to continue your own story. (but working with others for a while is fine too) I'm not exactly sure what you mean tohugh when you say "I must travel around and visit new places in the world of TLA"....do you mean like TLA?

((split up into two posts because it would've been too long to be able to post as one.))
  10. Yeah, you don't have to stick around for the very end, but you can't just kill your character off right after you introduce him. I'd love for you to make it to the end, or at least close, as Merc's wanting every writer to bring up lots of epic..ness. It's pretty much mandatory for you to at least collide some with people, but you don't have to stick around with them a lot like what happened in Blackout, with too much staying together, getting dragged down, resulting in lots of fillers, and not branching off much to continue individual stories.
