My name is Josh, I'm new to lbpcentral but have been a long term fan of little big planet. I have the lbp2 beta and have been trying out some concepts, but there is a task I just cannot work out.
What I am trying to create is a 2 player 'battle' level where the 2 players climb into these pods which they control their Sackbots from. My problem is this, I cannot make a separate camera for each player to focus on their Individual Sackbots. The closest I've come is wiring a movie camera to a sackbot but then both players are seeing the same thing.
If anyone can help I would really appreciate if you could get ahold of me.

    Go on youtube type in LBP2 BETA create mode walkthrough and it shows you all the new stuff in create mode in LBP2

    To do that I think you do this:


    Go to create mode.
    Press square.
    Tools Bag.
    Go to the page which has the proper level lighting after music and backgrounds.
    The top option sets the gameplay. There's co-op which means each player has the same camera, spawns from same place, etc. I haven't seen cutscene but you make movies with it..... The versus one means each player has their own camera in the level. Online you'll see what you do but your 'friend' won't die if they leave your screen. They have their own screen. However, with this, they'll spawn from different checkpoints. If you put 4 checkpoints down in a level and delete your original entrance and then set to versus, all 4 checkpoints will activate at once.

    In play, you spawn out of a random one.


    So in your level you'd start with your entrance and make everyone spawn out of it with the only other checkpoint being a scoreboard. Then they could get in their controllinators and play. However should another checkpoint be placed, it will spread out the players, e.g. with 2 separate checkpoints on 2player 1 will spawn from and the other player will spawn from the other.

    So this is what you'd use for your level. As far as I'm concerned you can't change the gameplay from what it is during the level. It's co-op, versus or cutscene.
