Why do people no longer give me reputation?

Sorry if this entry is to short, but I wanted to go up another reputation level. Nobody thanks my posts anymore. Even if I write a good post that people would give reputation, they still don't do it. Why?

    Are you sure your posts really are "good posts that people would give reputation, they still don't"? Length doesn't equal quality.

    Best solution: Just be plain casual and people appreciate it more. Personally, people who TRY to be popular are recieved in a negative way. At least what I see. People who tend to be enjoyable, clever, or simply a fun person to read from or chat with are basically the cool people xD

    So really, put popularity in the back of your head, set "enjoyment" or whatever besides that as your priority, then soon enough people should mend their views on ya.

    Alternatively, make sure your posts have nothing that people may be iffed at. Some things are best left unsaid.

    (If the following doesn't work, then it's not my fault that my mind works like so D: )
