This sounds really good, are you planning on having many boss battles, as there is going to be 20 levels. If you are this is obvious but try to make the progressively harder and more challenging and add new features to the level aswell as you move through the story

Yes there will be bosses but how many will vary because of the 20 level limit. At the end of each theme there will be a boss.

The obstacles will be different all across the levels so this isn't a matter of, say jumping across squares and making them smaller the more you progress but instead the obstacles will be uniquely hard as they will test a different set of skills (grapple hook, core platforming, bounce pads etc..)

The story levels of LBP1 and LBP2 do a great example of that.

Obstacle's of the first three levels are in drawings and will be posted in next blog

Thanks for comment I greatly appreciate it

Cool, also will the "Final" Boss battle challenge all of the skills that are previously challenged??
  4. Manny_LBP2's Avatar
Yes the final boss I have in mind currently will attempt to do that but I am putting in new gameplay features that are introduced as Powers and in some levels I will try to make it so you can go across the a level in different ways for example:

Grapple hook combination with a power (will not reveal yet) will get you through parts of the level while you have the option to use say the grabinator with a different power. It just depends on how the player wants to play because I know some people arn't that great with certain power-up tools such as the grapple-hook and I want to give them that option to play their way.

Oh, I would Make it so u learn a "power or skill" Inbtween Each boss, and The Next boss will use the newly learned skills, Then the Final will have all skills combined to defeat it

The Powers are still in debate whether or not they should be added in between bosses this will be in the next Blog. The Final Boss Is still far away from development but yes that's the idea for the final boss.

Thanks for the feedback I really do appreciate it
