Studio Quest Archive: Section I

For the next 20 blog entries, I am going to talk about my game idea called "Studio Quest". This game idea is based off of the idea of Donkey Kong 64 and some early games by Rare Ltd when they worked with Nintendo. I enjoyed DK64 because you can collect golden bananas to unlock levels and you can capture fairies to unlock bonus features. I may have played LBP2 for a long time, but if there's any game better than LBP and LBP2 (as well as InFamous and InFamous 2), it's got to be Donkey Kong 64. I may live in the new generation, but I like the old generation more. DK64 had better music, better gameplay, and is not as short or easy as LBP/LBP2. Besides, sidescrollers have less fun than three-dimensional games like DK64. I know a lot of you would disagree because this is an LBP fansite, but it's just my opinion.

Now if we want to get into Studio Quest, here's what it's about: It's about a boy named Jerry as he goes into some studio with a warehouse-like facade. There are four creators, eight directors, and twenty writers that work for the shows made in the studio. There are ten shows made by all four of the creators combined, the shows that Jerry has to explore in the adventure. They were all made for the same channel.

The Plot:

Jerry enjoyed adventure movies when he was a young boy. His dream was to go onto an adventure. By the time he went to the renaissance festival, he learned the traits of being a hero. He was 16 when he left the walled town to kill the zombies. He later discovers a studio after killing the zombies.

The studio was not okay, even after Jerry cleared the court yard from zombies. The evil magician came in to take over all ten shows made by the studio, replacing the main characters with monsters that will destroy the shows. With all of the main characters kicked out, they came to life. The creators were surprised that the main characters were real, and they became clueless until they found out why they came to life. It was up to Jerry to go through all ten of the shows, restoring them back to normal, and defeating all of the monsters created by the evil magician.
