Last time, I talked about the moves and upgrades given to each playable character. Now this is the last blog entry before I go over the walkthrough. It's going to be about awards. Your objective is to collect all of the awards. In each level, there are ten stars, four medals, one plaque, one trophy, and three blue ribbons. Here are the details:

Stars - The stars are the main components of the game. The studio has a machine that can only operate if you have all 100 stars. It was working fine, but the evil magician stole all of the stars and hid them all over the shows in the studio. There are ten stars for every level. They are used to unlock levels and to operate the machine that makes the films. When the machine is fully operated, you can watch bonus movies in the game.

Medals - These awards are circle shaped with a symbol and are hidden all over each level. Everytime you collect a medal, your character learns a new move or upgrade. The medal has to match the character in order to collect. The red medals with a sword symbol are for Jerry, the yellow medals with a cat symbol are for Joey, the green medals with a gun symbol is for Jack, and the blue medals with a thick line through it is for Jamie. There are four medals in every level, and 36 medals in total.

Plaques - These awards are badge-shaped, and they are only used to expand the health meter. At the beginning of the game, there are six units (they are measured in brownies). Every plaque you collect, you gain one health unit. There is only one plaque per level, and nine plaques in total.

Trophies - These awards are only given if you defeat a boss from each level. There is only one trophy per level, and ten trophies in total. There's one trophy that you cannot collect unless if you operate the machine in the secret room in the studio. If you collected the same trophy for the first time, you will unlock a multi-player game in the game menu. To unlock each boss, you at least need five stars from the level, two out of three mini-games completed, and have all four characters unlocked.

Blue Ribbons - These awards are the only awards (besides the trophies) that cannot be awarded unless if you complete a task. There are three blue ribbons per level. One is awarded for completing all three mini-games. In each level, there are three mini-games. To complete each mini-game, you have to get to a certain score. If you complete a mini-game for the first time, you will unlock the same mini-game for the game menu. Another blue ribbon is awarded if you learn all of the moves in the level and expand your health meter for the level. This means finding both the plaque and all four medals. The other blue ribbon is awarded if you collect all ten stars and defeat the boss. So technically, you have to complete all three mini-games and retrieve all of the awards from each level to get all three blue ribbons. Each time you get all three blue ribbons, you unlock a bonus movie for the machine in the secret room. If it's the first time you unlocked the movie, it will be unlocked in the game menu.

Brownies - these are not awards, but they are the units of health. Everytime you take hits, you lose a brownie in the health meter, so you have to kill each enemy to get a brownie back. You can also switch characters to refill your health meter.

The next entry should be the first steps of the walkthrough.
