After five entries on the basics, it's time to go through the walkthrough. This is how you begin the game. You start out with the tutorials and then find the way to the studio.
Section One - The Tutorials:
The game begins at the Renaissance Festival where you learn the tutorials. Jerry is the main character, and the first playable character to use. There are five tutorials.
Tutorial 1 - Medieval Maze:
This is all about walking and camera view. Jerry's first activity is the Medieval Maze, and this is where you begin control. It's about walking and running. You can also learn how to control the camera by rotating and zooming.
Tutorial 2 - The Obstacle Course:
This is about jumping and climbing. You will learn how to jump over objects, jump on top of something, and jump over gaps. You will also be able to climb and perform the ground pound technique.
Tutorial 3 - The Battle Arena:
Jerry wins a wooden toy sword from the Medieval Maze and the toy shield from the Obstacle Course, so it's time for him to battle another person with the toy sword and shield. This tutorial is about how to attack and to block others' attacks.
Tutorial 4 - The Wizard:
Jerry wins a real sword and shield at the Battle Arena. They were meant for antiques only, but he puts them to use for later. Jeremy, Jerry's older brother, takes the toy sword and toy shield from Jerry. The fourth tutorial is about collecting objects. Jerry sees the wizard who is missing the magic rock. Without it, the wizard is powerless. So you have to collect the magic rock and a few other items.
Tutorial 5 - Lost Souvenir:
After doing the wizard a favor, a female guest accidentally drops her jewelry box she bought from the Renaissance Festival in the lake. This tutorial is about swimming. You have to collect the jewelry box and talk to the girl who dropped it to complete the tutorial.
Section Two - The Desert:
When the tutorials are complete, you begin your adventure in a walled town with a Southwestern style architecture. It's walled to keep dangerous intruders out, and there's a gate where people can get out or in. The gate is now blocked because there are zombies out in the desert outside town. Your goal is to get out of town.
To leave the town, you have to talk to one of the guys in a booth near the gate. Nobody's allowed out when there are zombies, but if you promise them that you will take care of the zombies and show proof, the guy in the booth will open the gates and let you out. When you leave, the gates close, and you are free into the desert.
You are introduced to the brownie health meter when you first see the zombies. You have six brownie units at the start. Every time you take one hit, you lose a brownie. If you lose all six brownies, you die. You can get more by killing enemies. Meanwhile, you have to kill the zombies in the desert. If you kill at least 10, you can move on.
Section Three - The Studio:
Jerry walks through the desert until he is fifteen miles away from the town. This is the section of the desert with the studio. He sees a warehouse to cool off. When he goes inside, he meets Jason Buster, the studio master. He is threatening to shut down the studio because there are zombies in the court yard, and nobody wants to take care of them. Jerry says that he took care of the zombie in the desert near his home town.
Once you finish talking to the studio master, go out into the court yard, and fight the zombies. There are several zombies to fight. Everytime you kill one zombie, another zombie spawns through the reservoirs. Before destroying the zombies, destroy all four reservoirs, which are grave stones. Then you kill the zombies. When all zombies are gone, you will receive a star. The stars are valuable pieces that make the movie-making machine work.
After all of the zombies are killed, you learn that all ten main characters have came to life. The studio master is superstitious, and every main character is walking around in the studio. When this happens, lure every main character into their spots. Each time you do this, the gates will close, locking the main character in the storage spot of the show they're from. Once all ten are taken care of, take the elevator in the back of the studio and go down to the basement.
In the basement, there's a hall that takes you to the secret room. Go there, and you'll meet Mr. Squawkers. He'll tell you all about the evil magician and what is scheme is. He will assign you on a quest. You are to defeat the evil magician.
