Yes, it's that time again folks! We've got another host of original, entertaining, mindbending (and in some cases controller bending too!) creations for you from the last two weeks. Enjoy! ...byPublished on 06-24-2012 02:36 PM
Welcome to this fortnight’s motley collection of awesome levels. We’ve plenty for you to enjoy (and a bumper crop of nods!) so dive in and get queuing!
A special plea this week! As he's travelling, StevenI will not be able to post the hub in the ingame newsfeed tomorrow and so we’ve published today in the hope that you guys will rally round and help us get the hub onto Cool Pages for the sake of the creators featured, especially the lesser known ones. It would be such a shame if they miss out on the extra plays. So please, please give the hub a play and a yay in these critical early hours, if you can! Thanks! ...byPublished on 06-11-2012 05:35 PM
Welcome to Episode 87’s bumper crop of fantastic levels, courtesy of the spotlight team and you - LBPC's awesome and growing number of superb creators! We on the spotlight crew think that 19 levels in the Spotlight has to be some kind of record (not to mention the amazing nods!). We’re not quite sure what they’re putting in the water in LBP these days but whatever it is, it’s producing some pretty awesome results! So stop whatever you’re ...byPublished on 06-06-2012 08:15 PM

Let me tell you the story of a particular man. His delicate, organic and insanely detailed environments have inspired hundreds of happy gadders to emulate his work. The sheer spectacle of one of his creations is enough to send his followers into crazed fits of jealousy, bemoaning their own mediocre talents to anyone who would care to listen. The moment he hits the publish button, a shiver goes down the neck of all who know him. His name travels far and wide, and that name is..?

Welcome everyone to the latest Episode of the Spotlight which contains only the very finest levels, plucked fresh from the showcase and brought to you by the doughty Spotlight Crew who braved serial impaling, tricky traps and a deadly virus on your behalf. There’s something for everyone: from platforming and pinball to an engaging movie, an awesome evocation of a nightmare gripped city and not forgetting a couple of epic arcade style shooters. We even have the most welcome return of the PSP Spotlight. So forget the sunshine, abandon the BBQ and get these levels queued!
On a sadder note we’d like to say a temporary farewell to OneEyedBanshee who’s taking a well earned break from spotlighting to devote more time to other projects. We wish him all the best with those and thank him for his tireless work and for generally keeping us all on the straight and narrow with his good sense and his ever critical eye for a good level. He’ll be much missed but has promised to return in a few months, a promise we are going to hold him to...any suggestions of something dear to him which we could hold hostage in the meantime gratefully received.
As ever our hub will go live sometime tomorrow provided we remember to ply Hubbie with enough cookies beforehand.

Hello and welcome to the latest Episode of the Spotlight, full to bursting with the cream of the Level Showcase over the past two weeks. It’s cool to see some less familiar names featured alongside the established creators this time round. The talent out there never ceases to amaze us! So dive in and sample what’s on offer.
Hubbie will be publishing a hub featuring the levels in this Episode sometime tomorrow...assuming he can find the time in his busy snacking schedule.

Hello everyone and welcome to ...erm...last week’s Episode of the Spotlight. As the site was down last weekend we didn’t get a chance to finish and post the usual Spotlight thread but we did publish the hub, due to sterling efforts on Hubbie's part (an extra ration o' cookies for him!) . That gave us a bit of a dilemma, though, as to what to do with the thread. In the ...byPublished on 04-15-2012 10:57 PM
Welcome one and all to the latest Episode of the Spotlight. Easter may have come and gone but we have a smattering of Easter themed levels for those chocoholics wanting to keep the memories alive. Other than that the theme is definitely one of awesome platforming goodness – there are some truly outstanding levels this week which will keep lovers of platforming very happy. The nods put up another strong showing too with a whole slew of wonderful levels from gruesome pinball to fantastic football and with music, Manga style drama and Western shoot-outs also thrown into the mix. What are you waiting for, get playing!
As usual, Hubbie will be publishing the Spotlight Hub for Episode 83 tomorrow at some point - probably after snack time...

Welcome everyone to Episode 82 of the Community Spotlight. As ever, we have a great selection of levels for you to play and as ever, they will be featured in our ingame hub published by the cookie-loving Hubbie.
We just wanted to let you all know that we’ve made a change to our policy as regards the Spotlight Hub. After giving it a lot of thought, we’ve come to the conclusion that the role of the hub should be to try and to give greater exposure to those levels featured in the Spotlight which need the plays – which really need a “spotlight”. As a result, from now on any level which has an MM Pick or which already has a very high play count will still be eligible to be included in the Spotlight thread but won’t get a slot in the hub. That way the plays which the hub gets will be spread amongst those levels with fewer plays to start with. We hope you all agree this is a change for the better. You may also have noticed that even within the hub we’ve left the central area for the levels with lower play counts and put the levels with a higher play count (usually 2,000 plus) off to the left a little. We would really appreciate your feedback on these changes and on any other aspects of the Spotlight.
Finally, we are delighted to see that some of the Japanese members here and their fellow creators have put together a Spotlight hub for Japanese levels. We think this is a great idea and are pleased to say that there will be a link to their first hub in our hub (if that makes sense, lol! I need a cookie...)
