One final thought.

Something akin to Spaff_Molecule's auto-posts to Front Page News. A new forum for blogs, people can post in it but NOT create topics, except a bot. This bot scours for new boss posts every, say, 15 minutes, then creates a topic (like Spaff_Molecule) in the new forum, starting with "Original Blog Post by X", and followed by the content of the blog itself. Users could then comment on it in that particular thread, we still keep the old system, but this brings it to everyone. Each blog post at the moment is only viewed by 3/4 people.

You're not too far off. Each person with a blog would have their own thread. Their blog "homepage" would be the first page of the thread - this would be updated with each "blog post". If there were a bbcode included (either built by yourself (if you can BBcode), or by someone at vbulletin (it seems like something someone may have made)) that would allow you to set a marker, á la html's # system (where "#post" or something along those lines is amended to the URL to go to the section titled "post"), and then call it, you could have a list of what "blog posts" you'd made at the top of your homepage, and then click one of the links to move the page to that blog post. Users could also post their new blog posts as new posts in the threads, to give other people a post to quote etc.

Hey there CC, sorry to interrupt you from installing mnrcentral, but I have a suggestion for the forums that I'd like you to take a look at.

It concerns the blog posts. There's some really high quality material posted in them at times, but the only ways to get to them are long and convoluted. At the moment, the highest interaction with them that I get extends to clicking the Newest Blog Post, and if someone specifically mentions a blog post in a thread. If, however, there was a Blog section of the forums - a new sub-forum - then I as well as everyone else would be further able to enjoy blog posts. I'm just throwing this out there, but I really do think that a section in the main forums where blog threads could be made would be more appropriate than the current design.

Yeah, i know its kinda annoying for me as well, but theres nothing i can do.

Unless i was able to merge my own posts, which means i could always merge my posts whenever that happened, so not t multy-post and the staff won'dn't have to worry about it.
