Why isn't the new community spotlight on the home page?

Well I never did get around to using a different computer but I noticed this button in the menu called "Compatibility Mode"

When I turned that off all the bugs fixed themselves

Errr Mr. CC sir! Errr I have a problem.. Whenever i scroll past puppet88's sig my browser freezes. Instantly. It's definitely his sig that's doing it. Not sure if it's just me, but I'm running the latest version of Safari on my shiny new mac with Snow leopard...
