Hi Thomas. It's going great. Sipping a Mocha Breve, writing level reviews, occassionally glancing at the TV when the volume increases (dang commercials). Wondering how I am going to address MastasBlastya's not honoring the F4F policy with my level. But he has only posted 6 times on the site in 3 years, so shame on me.

Working on a Score Challenge level...something new in gameplay mechanics that I discovered while making Refuge. I will use the level to showcase a new song called Facility IX.

Thanks Thomas. He is still doing well, so definitely a good sign this many hours after the surgery.

I've purchased the Chilton manuals for other cars I've owned, but stopped when we started buying European made cars several years ago. Wayyyyy too many expensive things to mess up. Although $1800.00 is a lot to pay for repairs, that is through a local shop. The car is a BMW 530 XI, and BMW would have charged me double that, so I am saving some money. I'm tired of paying the dealerships rediculous prices, and using local businesses at least keeps the money in our community. I will still do the minor things that don't require a full tool box or lots of time. I work so many hours a week, I'm very selective with what I spend my spare time on. Washing and waxing the cars is a father daughter moment, so always up for that.

Haven't heard anything yet.
He doesn't have his cell and hasn't called.
I'm guessing he's just out somewhere cuz the hospital would have called if something went wrong.
I'll start calling the house around 8. If I don't get an answer by 10 we may be driving up there.

Hi Bio. The surgical procedure on my dad was successful, and he is resting. If all stays well, he will be released from hospital tomorrow.

And my car will be released tomorrow also...after I lay $1800.00+ on the counter. I had a coil firing error code, so had the them replace plugs and plug wires and do periodic maint while they had it, which totaled $936.00, but just got a call from them telling me they noticed my radiator has a seep at a weld joint, so another $900.00 to replace it. It's crazy. :/

Hi Bio. I have no news yet. To make matters worse, my car decided to act up last night heading home and have to take into shop in a few minutes. And V's dad is at hospital with breathing problems and they are running tests. Looks like V will use her car to travel and I will have to fly. All of this just adds to the stress, and I have been trying to stay calm by being on LBPC today.

Heading out the door now, so am logging off. I will touch base with you later. And thank you very much for your concern and thoughts. I will also keep your dad in my thoughts and prayers as well.

Rick's dad is having heart surgery right now and my dad is at another hospital with breathing probs.
We may have to take off suddenly.
