    it looks good and i'm glad you use it. many people didn't see the potential of the compression tool when I first published it but they came around. I have as much faith in the custom emitter idea as I did in the tool, I hope mm gets to see what I see. I'm going to try open the idea to public opinion soon in hopes the idea will reach mm. my 1st level in 2008, in my 1st week was my only story level so far and that was noobish, maybe a good story level would promote my site, especially if I make exclusive weapons and vehicles for people that take the 30 seconds to go to my site and get special stickers from my tutorial level. I'm really not as conceded as I appear, but I like to stir up the opposition when i'm trying to make a defend my position. if you know the creator of LBPC, ask him to bring back compatibility with the ps3 browser, it won't let me start threads with it and i'd rather use my ps3 for all websites I can. hence, why I created my site.

    before you cut me off, I suggested an option for the custom emitter to only emit things given by the level author. hence in game keys, weapon, and other "unlockables" in the story. wasn't nice what you did, most people in my position would make you the star of my next movie. still considering but it really didn't bother me. but thank you, maybe I will start creating seriously now, you wouldn't believe the kind of realism the compression tool can create, not to mention the science aspects. but again, thank you, I'll be starting my 1st real level soon, I hope you enjoy it.
  6. Which can i expect from you soonest?

    randomizer logic blog?
    Central Industrial Prototyping?
    Canyone Jass-esque minigame?

    LOL, what's wrong with talking to yourself once in a while?

    And I made myself a lint to see how long it'd take for people to get confused, so far, you're the second person.
  8. You look far more normal than I imagined
    I pictured a dicky-bow and a pair of classic 3d glasses taped to your forehead... I have no clue why...
  9. Your inbox is full, i need your help with something

    That's not it at all, I think it looks alot like the PSP version, but seen as I'm not a good enough creator to go and see it then I can't witness it first hand

Go Forth & Multiply

Part 5 - Multiplication, Division & More

Last entry we looked at scaling as our first stab at approaching multiplication in the analogue domain. However, the scaling techniques presented were relatively limited - for upscaling we were limited to fixed integer values, and downscaling was limited to certain signals only. We then took what appeared to be a massive detour into the world of sampling of signals

Part 4 - Basics of Scaling & Sampling

Yeah.... So I forgot to write an intro. No one cares about my intros anyway, right? Exactly. Today has the basics of sampling and scaling, but not in that order. Go:

1.0. Basic Scaling

Just to clarify, when

Part 3 - Dealing with Signal Duality - Conversion Techniques

Well, it's come to my attention that binary is, in fact, not just for n00bs, despite what my blog may have said a couple of weeks ago. Digital systems are actually bloody useful and quite fantastic. You see, this world of analogue signal processing may well be relatively spangly and new and it can do a whole bunch of stuff

Part 2 - Sorting and Addition

Analogue processing is all about arithmetic - carrying out mathematical operations of numbers in a continuous spectrum. Last installment we briefly (heh) covered the basic processing units provided by the in-game tools. These boil down to
  • min(),
  • max(),
  • subtraction,
  • inversion,
  • integration.

This isn't really a very wide toolset

Analogue Logic - Notation

Supplemental Note - Notation

As we progress onwards, it's becoming clear to me that I need a set of terms and shorthands that I can use to concisely and unambiguously convey what I'm talking about. So much like when I did for digital systems, I've distilled out some concepts from real-world techy-type stuff into a kind of notation to use for the analogue aspects of the Logic Blog. These will likely be the standards as I move forwards, which
