    Wow!! Impressive! And yes, of course I've seen your site.. I pointed out that old chap with the impressive mustache, remember? I thought it might've been you

    I looked up Lightroom and yeah... AU$460 (!!!!). SO for a hobby, I might need to hang off on that one too until our subdivision is over and done with and we have no more debt (can you imagine that? I can't really... this project better pay off!!). I tried googling Lightbox but couldn't get a hit on any specific program - I might need to company name to make it more specific.
    Anyhow, I'ma take another look at your site this afternoon when I get back. I imagine your auto focus would need to be ridiculously fast for racing and sports. I remember Countess saying she doesn't take a good picture (as in not photogenic... and I doubt that).. maybe you need to have her sprint round the yard really fast? Action shots might be more her thing? tee hee.. I'm sure she'd love that idea

    Excellent! Thankyou so much. I don't do too much in the way of post-production (just using the basic Kodak Easyshare and iPhoto programs) , aside from the occasional mucking with contrast and exposure and cropping, although some of those pics I posted had a one-click colour enhancement to bring them back to what they looked like in reality as the sun was quite harsh and bleached the colour a little through the lens. I'd definitely be interested in checking that program out. Maybe that's what my friend uses, although I thought she said she used "Lightbox". I might be remembering wrong - or are there two similar programs? In any case, it sounds terrific...

    As for my camera... it's really a piece of crud now. It's a little Kodak DX6490 with a Kreuznach Variogon lens, but I want to one day upgrade to a digital SLR of some kind. But that will have to wait until all our renovations are completed >:O What do you use?

I am always entertained about the features of the internet containing fancy geeky words to accompany them.

Not saying that is a bad thing, as they probably do need some sort of word. Most make wonderful sense.. some are a bit foreign until you know what it means for example in the case of an acronym. Others are simply based upon a product name, like google or Tweet for a Twitter entry. Even others are just names somebody decided to use similar to Java. You never know..
