    wow - that's a little tricky isn't it. I know I've seen that "R" before but can't place it. I'm running through my 6,000 fonts to see if I can get close for ya. Might take me a bit.

    I'm home sick from work. Still feeling like crud. Oh well, nothing to do but drink liquids and stay warm I think. The upside is it's not taxing to pick up a controller

    Hubble 3D won't let you down. Oh, lordy will it not let you down.

    I use Final Cut Pro for editing. My first non-linear editor was Premiere, then I moved to a Media 100 suite to do my earliest pro work, after that I switched to AVID and used it for about 4 or 5 years. The last several years I've been exclusively on Final Cut Pro. They keep up pretty well with the newest codecs, and make it pretty easy to mix and match media types in one project. Although I hate how they handle P2 cards.

    So that's pretty much that for me. After Effects is good for compositing and general motion graphics and effects work, and it's pretty easy to use. I've only really done some basic compositing with it though!

    I haven't used Vegas, and I haven't really talked to anyone who does, so it's a bit of a mystery to me! I've gotten pretty happy with Final Cut Pro. It's RIDICULOUSLY customizable too, which I love. Good luck with your hunt!

    I've been playing with that trick today actually, I'm wary to complete a full level with it though in case it breaks the level or gets patched, I've been using for score bubbles though

    I'll have a look at the thread now mate, can't believe I missed it.

    Well if you get it I think you'll like it. I was a die hard Quark backer and went kicking and screaming to InDesign, now I love it.

    Not feeling so good today. Might duck out of work if they let me. Somedays I just hate "my situation" medically and today would be one of those days..... *sigh*

    LOL yea it was great last night.... except for the breaking noises and pesky corner editor. lol I gotta let it set tonight and make with the level playing.

    I use InDesign every day. It's comparable to Quark XPress but it does so much more and handles fonts so much better. If you have a lot of text to manage there's nothing better but for web stuff I don't know how much use you'd get out of it.

I am always entertained about the features of the internet containing fancy geeky words to accompany them.

Not saying that is a bad thing, as they probably do need some sort of word. Most make wonderful sense.. some are a bit foreign until you know what it means for example in the case of an acronym. Others are simply based upon a product name, like google or Tweet for a Twitter entry. Even others are just names somebody decided to use similar to Java. You never know..
