Everyone's shedding jobs. I haven't worked for over a year now.. was just thinking. It's been too hard with Teg and I've lost all my connections, but to be honest, I don't miss it. Things are full time here at home at the moment.

I ended up buying those cushions (3 pair!! all different). I certainly hope they're good... if not, they'll go up in the loft when it's built On that renovatoon front, WE GOT OUR STAMPED PLANS BACK!!! That means we just have to now resubmit landscape and drainage plans > and we're okay to build. The pool area is well underway as well. I've been meaning to update my blog but have been busy with other things. OOO! I made the BEST hot cross buns last night from a recipe a friend gave me. If you want the recipe, let me know. They are better than anything I've ever bought, by a long way. I was delighted

Lol... They've been saying WKCII is "coming soon" for soooo long now that I've stopped hanging out for it. Of course, I haven't finished the first one yet, despite being at almost Level 50 (top level), but I'm only Guild Rank 7 (of 15)... it takes soooo long to rank up, so you made a wise decision to scrap it all. I did like her ears, but I loved her eyes and purple hair. She's very different to most I've seen and that's always good with me.

But on to more important topics - CONGRATULATIONS!!! I figured you'd be alright, but PHEW that all the stress is over and done with (for now, as you say). Your economy has taken a bit of a beating lately, hasn't it? Ours has too to a degree. But David had his performance review yesterday and they are delighted with him so it's a PHEW here as well as banks shed jobs.

Hey, I'm sorry to hear about your cannonballs! You should give the superior scrambled eggs a go (or whatever they're called). i omitted the creme fraiche (was gagging at all the butter he puts in!) and it was really delicious, but SO heavy! I believe he's come under a lot of criticism recently for all the fats and salt he uses in his cooking. I tried a new 'chicken sang choy bow' recipe last night from a diet cookbook I bought and half the instructions were missing! I had to make them up! They were saying to add stuff that wasn't even on the ingredients list!! Oh well... it worked out okay in the end, because it was food and pretty much any food is good by me (as you know)

So any progress on the other 'frontline' in the business war zone? When will you guys all know the outcome? As I said before, I'm sure you'll be okay. They'd have to be completely nuts to let you take any kind of package :/ As for not 'working' here... it's pretty good actually. I do miss it - and regular interaction with the other staff - but my personal life has managed to get even more busy to fill any void that was there

Yes it is! Lol! I'd certainly read your blog should you ever start one Glad to hear you're making some progress in the home decorating front. At least ONE of us is, although I'm currently um-ing and ah-ing over some Uzbekistani Ikat cushions. I'm a tad hesitant as I seem to be on a roll of bad decor choices (buying stuff only to return them a few days later ). Got to return some blinds today... *sigh*
I'd love to see your room all done up. Hope you took some before and after photos. Glory hole!! What an awesome expression!! I've been trying to cull Teg's toys but it's really hard! So many of them have been bought by her birth mum & her family and I don't want to let go of any of those as that's an important connection... anyway, I'll figure it out. I've got all these jobs on the go (laundry/family room/pool area), so I know just how time consuming it all can be - although feel I'm just treading water or at the most scooping out the bay with a teaspoon!!
