Yes- I had that very same experience plus I had bubblewrap debris do me in twice! It would sit on the bouncepad and then when I hit it expecting to bounce, no bounce. Or how about the first few times you actually managed to get past bouncepad/flamethrower only to fall short of the other-side and fall to the lava below. Ow. Atleast I never died vs. the 2 giant sack meanies and the crusher...

I really don't understand aceing the levels in a row... I am motivated by prizes not pins, for me there is no reward to it. Besides the point I don't care for that sort of thing... I doubt the authenticity of about 95% who achieve it. (It's actually about 98% but I didn't want to sound to accusing) Who Knows? It just seems about as real as changing the date on my ps3 to get a christmas or thanksgiving day pin!

Ha! You said nonplussed! We don't hear that over here in the states. I was rummaging around in your photos, as I am wont to do from time to time; that picture in Skye is amazing! I live in Ohio and to get anywhere that beautiful usually is a 2 hour or more car ride. It can be picturesque here in Cincinnati, but nowhere near as awe inspiring.

P.S. is "wont to do" and "from time to time" redundant? :P

Thanks for the kind review of Dr. Dooley's Contraptical Obstacle Course. I am working on a couple new levels currently. Hope to be finished within a couple of weeks!

The intent is for you to recognize yourself in the game world. That said, you can do whatever you like. If you fancy Star Trek, we can put you in Aethernauts. Otherwise, we can make you a cameo appearance: once my city level is sorted out, you can be wandering around in the park, crash landing in your pod, stuffing your face with chips at the mall...whatever you fancy. You can even give me an "alter ego" - MrsSpookyBuz was Commander Lisa Buzworth, a mashup of her real and screen names.

If you'd rather not choose, just send me a 'bot of your favorite costume.

Lol! We are still being reasonably restrained and playing a few levels a night, although partly out of necessity because we are both pretty busy at the moment. We have just started the third world (where you meet Clive somethingorother, and save the sackbots), and I'm loving it. We have plenty to revisit already though, as we haven't activated any switch triggers or hunted around for those extra bubbles, so I think it'll keep us going for a while yet!

Wow that was some restraint you exercised, having it in your house but managing to get some work done! I had to work late tonight, so my chances of going to Game after were scuppered, but fortunately Blockbuster came to the rescue Have a good weekend

Has it arrived?? We usually find GAME delivers the day before here, but we didn't preorder this time round because I don't trust our post. (I invested in the Ally McBeal boxset over Christmas, and it got posted round the whole of Watford before I finally got my hands on it about a week ago).

Haha! SPRUNG!! I'm sure your mother in law thinks you're nuts now I often think we're all nuts - 3 (almost) middle aged women running around as sackgirls. It was indeed lovely to play with you again - your voice and accent are just as I always imagine when reading your messages, despite the fact it's been so long since I last heard it. My voice gets a bit distorted by that singstar mic I had to use, alas. I don't usually sound so much like Bea Arthur :/ I didn't know you'd heard Tegan. She's not microphone shy at all

I did have a great day. I'm not sure you could make out what I was saying at the time, but that parcel that arrived at the door while we were playing was a box containing several packages of hand-made chocolates from zChocolat in Aix-en-Provence! Sent to me from MAx! Her timing was impeccable! Although I did growl at her later for spending money on me . But I must say, the chocolates are soooo delicious!
