Happy Birthday I only have a forlorn hope that you'll see this here. I may yet have to actually post something on the dreaded Facebook if I want to be sure you get it, lol!

I just sent a friend request Most of my status updates happen to be in Finnish or drunken gibberish so I hope you don't mind, it's still a great way to keep contact (or would be if I ever really talked to anyone on there, heh)

Anyway so yeah I'm gonna study English and pretty much see where that takes me. I've always wanted to be as fluent as possible in English and the usual options after the studies is being a teacher or translator so that's not too bad I think. I'm getting kinda nervous about everything that has to do with not living with my parents anymore but I'm pretty sure I'll be fine. All my older siblings have been fine. My mother on the other hand might freak out as she is now finally left all alone (or so she thinks at least) but also might be relieved that all her children have "grown up".

It's not only your LBPC friends growing up, though... just watch out for those girls of yours suddenly not living at home anymore

There's some things there that I am addressing here now. I did end up surviving one year of the Finnish military or prison as you called it. Was a fun experience actually. Really tough and stuff but it was such a change from EVERYTHING that it was definitely worth it. Especially going one year and not just half of one. Another thing. I did end up going for studying English and got accepted so I am moving out on my own in a little under a month. Exciting stuff going on. A person on the other side of the globe that has only one real connection through a forum for a game and that one would care about and want to find about how life is. That would be you, actually. How is life?

Hello BabyDoll, I hope everything is well with you and your family.

Finally went to see Les Mis yesterday and enjoyed it very much...if "enjoy" is the right word, lol; I did end up with some very soggy tissues and even Freya shed a tear. I caught her googling Hugh Jackman afterwards so he may have a new fan! Actually I got blasted when I suggested he hadn't been in any good films up until Les Mis so, yeah, definitely got a new fan.

I totally agree with what you said about the differences between the stage show and the film version and yes I think "raw" is the perfect word to describe it
