    True.
Same, but its not like the government wouldn't start/join a war for that reason.

Communism would work if everyone got along and didn't get greedy.
So far no country has ever had a communist society so ruling it out doesn't make sense.

Having a large scale war of our own wouldn't be all bad actually..
Yes, it would be terrible and many of us would be killed, but the war itself would make the country enough money to send us back to pre-9/11 economy. Which would basically make prices dirt cheap again and money would be easy to come by.

As you can see, im communist. :P
Which means,to me, all these systems are failures.

I feel like we got the short end of the stick, money wise, and all the older people are just passing us off as lazy because we have little gadgets from modern technology. :/

65] However, due to the global financial crisis of 2008-2009, at least one journalist has expressed fears of permanently losing a substantial amount of Generation Y's earning potential."

Apparently we are becoming more like the pre-1960's generations where nobody questioned authority and everyone just obeyed. We're becoming..Liberal Conservatives?!

Also, I wouldn't consider Justin Beiber to be part of generation Y.

    this just scares me ****less:

"In some ways, the Millennials have become seen as the ultimate rejection of the counterculture that began in the 1960s and persisted in the subsequent decades through the 1990s.[62][63] This is further documented in Strauss & Howe's book titled Millennials Rising: The Next Great Generation, which describes the Millennial generation as "civic minded," rejecting the attitudes of the Baby Boomers and Generation X.[64] Kurt Andersen, the prize-winning contributor to Vanity Fair writes in his book Reset: How This Crisis Can Restore Our Values and Renew America that many among the Millennial Generation view the 2008 election of Barack Obama as uniquely theirs and describes this generational consensus building as being more healthy and useful than the counterculture protests of the late 1960s and early 1970s, going as far to say that if Millennials can "keep their sense of entitlement in check, they might just turn out to be the next Greatest Generation."[

I disagree about it being easy for the Y generation, money wise.( The depression part)
And the part about "established parents'

In the U.S, we're going to be hardest hit by the recession.
We're all expected to go to a university, have a place to live, and be able to pay car notes even though there are less jobs and the jobs that are out there don't pay enough.
I have a book that says this Gen is more racially diverse, has more 'broken home' situations and most live with one parent/gaurdian. It also says that the Gen X parents don't have enough money to give us for Universities.

"In prior generations, you get married and you start a career and you do that immediately. What young people today are seeing is that approach has led to divorces, to people unhappy with their careers ... The majority want to get married [...] they just want to do it right the first time, the same thing with their careers."

I think that explains the slowness a little.. (and the horrible economy)..

Perceptions of Power

by BabyDoll1970 on 06-18-2010 at 02:09 AM
The experience of becoming a moderator has been an interesting one so far. The most bizarre aspect of 'interesting' has been how, all of a sudden, I have people I've never spoken to - or even met before - visiting my profile page and sending me psn requests. I was told that would happen, and I have no problem with that whatsoever, everyone's been really nice and it's been fun getting to know other people in the community ... I'm assuming that it's simply a case of my having been dragged out of

Locked in frustration!!

by BabyDoll1970 on 09-18-2009 at 11:49 PM
Yesterday I locked my 'Art Vandals!' level because I was so angry at the recurring GLITCHES!!

"What can I do?!" I exclaimed to the TV - and, not surprisingly - it didn't offer me a single helpful suggestion. Probably because it's a Samsung. I'm sure people are unable to finish my level because the stupid paint guns keep glitching and refusing to fire - and you need them in order to progress to the next section. And if that happens, then half my plasma alarms stop working - as do

A game for kids...?

by BabyDoll1970 on 09-04-2009 at 02:06 AM
Welcome, BabyDoll1970, to your first ever blog! I warmly welcome you as the first and possibly only reader and hope that you find your own thoughts insightful and in some way inspiring : )

My brief time here on LBPC has revealed that not only am I not the only (physically) 'mature' LBP player/creator, but many of the very best levels being put out there are by those classified as 'adults' (18 years and over... no offence to any younger creators - I did say MOST, not all). As I said
