  1. ........
  2. Not yet. On my way!
  3. Thanks. :P I actually just added a few more parts to it. I added a Sackbot. heh heh.
  4. Thanks BabyDoll. As I mentioned to Lass, it was really all Teebonesy's magic. Aww, I should've said hello! And yes, your rooms are always magnificent.
  5. Oh I see. . . yeah those are totally bunnies. . / airplanes. So when do you plan to translate it to lbp? I'm really looking forward to lbp2! Just saw the vid.

And about mothers day, think about this as you enjoy your chocolates: You must have some wonderful daughters who respect the bond you share with them so much that they wouldn't dare cheapen it by doing something nice for you on mother's day as it might be construed as out of obligation. In this way, the gift of nothing is perhaps greater than any gift you could have asked for.
  6. Reesty mankmongers????? My god, I think your brother and I are meant to be friends.

Ah yes, college towns are certainly a breeding ground for the reesty kindred, mongering their manky goings-on, macbooks in tow and the prentention'd attendings of beer luncheonry.

Okay that's it, one of my vocabulary vessels just popped, I have to go take care of this. You can thank your brother for putting me back in this dark place (I was on the wagon until just now.)
  7. Well i'm not saying we don't find ourselves clever. . . but forgive me if i'm doubting that I could make a living by talking to you. So these Breslin works are pretty sweet, though I looked over those thumbnails and didn't see anything that looked like bunnies. . . I must have another look.

Anyway being 19 hours in the future; mother's day has come and gone for you Aussies. . .if you guys celebrate it that is. Hope your minions did something nice for the poor worn out sack momma.
  8. To rant further:

The videogame nerds ARE NOT HELPING THE CAUSE by showing up half slovenly and dragging along their wide B.O. bubbles. It was tough, I'm not going to lie to you. I'll have to go back when they play something a little less for the ADD crowd.

You ever get on a city bus when there's some rancid human mutant hiding in the wings, stinking the entire thing up with an unholy horror of an olfactory poltergeist, and there's NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT to escape?
This shouldn't happen when you go to the symphony. This is one of the WONDERFUL things about a "night on the town" - you get dressed up for god's sake, like people did 60 years ago, and you make sure you smell nice.

I'm disappointed in the videogame nerds. They're not doing enough to slay the old stereotypes, the ADD-riddled cheeto-stained stinkmongers.

So please, put down the chocolate. You can join me in consuming this entire tub of ice cream.
  9. Yes, she's been on her White Knight Chronicles now for a while, hasn't she? We both have the tendency to drag each other back in. We're both Al Pacino in Godfather 3. And at the same time we're also both "They".

Hah, the symphony was a little out of the ordinary. It was Video Games Live. Vancouver Symphony Orchestra plays videogame music. It was a mixed bag for me. What I hoped was to hear full Nobuo Uematsu suites and big orchestrated Chrono Trigger. And while both of these things were represented, the whole thing was targeted to the youtube crowd. With the exception of two 5-minute songs, everything was in medley form. Everything. I honestly think half the crowd there thought the big screens showing videogames were the main attraction, and the orchestra was there to provide backup.
  10. Whyyyy... THANK YE! The lady gave me a lovely birthday, went to the symphony, also got some much in-demand concert tickets for next month as well.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the video so much. Scout and I had a ball. Will definitely be doing more like it in the future, so look forward to those!

Perceptions of Power

by BabyDoll1970 on 06-18-2010 at 02:09 AM
The experience of becoming a moderator has been an interesting one so far. The most bizarre aspect of 'interesting' has been how, all of a sudden, I have people I've never spoken to - or even met before - visiting my profile page and sending me psn requests. I was told that would happen, and I have no problem with that whatsoever, everyone's been really nice and it's been fun getting to know other people in the community ... I'm assuming that it's simply a case of my having been dragged out of

Locked in frustration!!

by BabyDoll1970 on 09-18-2009 at 11:49 PM
Yesterday I locked my 'Art Vandals!' level because I was so angry at the recurring GLITCHES!!

"What can I do?!" I exclaimed to the TV - and, not surprisingly - it didn't offer me a single helpful suggestion. Probably because it's a Samsung. I'm sure people are unable to finish my level because the stupid paint guns keep glitching and refusing to fire - and you need them in order to progress to the next section. And if that happens, then half my plasma alarms stop working - as do

A game for kids...?

by BabyDoll1970 on 09-04-2009 at 02:06 AM
Welcome, BabyDoll1970, to your first ever blog! I warmly welcome you as the first and possibly only reader and hope that you find your own thoughts insightful and in some way inspiring : )

My brief time here on LBPC has revealed that not only am I not the only (physically) 'mature' LBP player/creator, but many of the very best levels being put out there are by those classified as 'adults' (18 years and over... no offence to any younger creators - I did say MOST, not all). As I said
