Cool - that's how I started Good Luck!

Yep, it is odd. Last summer when we both went to Quebec for our annual trip, it also served a dual purpose. Although his mother passed in February, her ashes were buried in August during our visit. So strange to attend a funeral and then go out afterward for a pleasant family dinner where fun was had. They say that laughter is good medicine, and after that experience I can attest to it. You're going to think this is bizarre, but it was my first funeral. My parents sheltered the heck out of me and my brothers - they didn't see reason for us to attend funerals that they had to. Like I said, weird. But I wasn't even thinking about that during his Mom's funeral. All I wanted to do was to stay strong for him - be at the ready to support him if he needed it.

Oh, and great minds think alike! I do have something special planned for him.

I'm great, sore as heck, but great. Skiing took a heavy toll on the muscles, but it was awesome. Anyway, I was just reading Sara's comics and really enjoying them. She is so amazing!

I'm so bummed about MSB. She's the reason I'm here, you know. I googled her name after playing a bunch of her levels and found this place. Funny huh. Anyway, I just wish she would have said something about the bozos making nasty comments. I know we could have run the varmints outta here in a minute. But she was just too darn nice to retaliate or to let some of us do it for her.

No we don't have any children, just two cats!!

Thanks for your comment on one of my cat pictures. You've got eyes like a hawk BD, it's a cross-stitch you spied.
It's called Woodland Cottage. The cottage is in the centre of the material surrounded by autumn coloured trees and all around the edge of the picture are different leaves, mushrooms and berries, with their names sewed in.
I'll take a picture sometime for you to see.
We've got quite a few cross-stitch pictures all around the house. I will have to make an album with them in.
