Oh, good god. Facepalms all around for that Skrillex facebook post. Y'see, I must admit that I do think Mr. Moore does produce some quality noises. I wasn't such a fan of his new EP, but he has whacked out a few good tunes in his time and they're not trying to be anything other that what they are. I think it's his fans who ruin it, which is a shame.

Also, tech question. I've read that you use MS Paint for mastering, but I can't get to grips with the interface. Are there any other applications you know of for mastering moosics? All I do is a little bit of EQ'n and some Multiband Dynamics, which is ok, but still sounds amateur.

Got a new track for 'ya! Under a new name too! This is where I try my hand at that thing called "Dubstep."
Remember a few posts back I said i'd be making "chill step?" Well, that plan has kinda gone out the window as the one i've made is a bit on the heavy side.

I've heard a little about that charity album MLR are doing, it sounds like a great idea! I'd love to contribute, but I'm a little sporadic in my music making. How does it work, do you need to be working by certain dates, or is it just whenever? I only ask because i'm inconsistent as fudge.

I mean, I might upload two songs a week, or nothing for months.

I think my next track is going to be done through ANOTHER side project. I've started to begin making music that I actually think is of a decent standard, so a fresh start would be nice.

I'm mainly making "chill-step" mellow dub kinda stuff. I wish I could show you what I've got already, but it still needs work. I'm going to Amsterdam on boxing day for 4 days too, so don't expect to hear from me, since I will be tripping balls.

My new stuff's a little like this. Well, kinda...a bit...not really...oh, you'll see once I get my lazy **** to arrange it.

I know exactly what you're talking about. I guess you're in the same position as me (if not a little more so) where if you publish a Pony song, it's going to receive FAR more plays than if it was uploaded to your normal account. It's lame, because I don't want to use it as an excuse for a couple of hundred views if all it means is making the title something Pony related. It seems somewhat cheap to me.

Saying that though, views are views right? And if the audience like's it, what's wrong about that? I guess it's a judgment call, really.

"The uploader has made this video not available in your country." Gah! Checked it out anyway and seems cool. Couldn't find too much on it, but yes, the soundtrack to it does seem amazing! I shall check it out sometime, although we share the same opinion on animes.
