You have been selected to take part in the LittleBigPlanet™ WATER Beta Test, yay!

We’d like you to join us for an exclusive Beta Trial of LittleBigPlanet, which contains a preview of forthcoming game features, including Online Create, improved online performance for low bandwidth and laggy connections, but chiefly – WATER.

You’ll find all the information you’ll need to jump on into the beta and get started in this email, so please read it thoroughly, no skimming now.


Information about the Beta Trial

The beta trial will be held in week long chunks starting on 27th August. After each week of play there will be a brief gap while any issues arising from the first stage of the trial are resolved. Should updates to the trial version of the game be required these will be applied as the trial progresses.

Sweden has land borders with Norway to the west and Finland to the northeast, and water borders with Denmark, Germany, and Poland to the south, and Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Russia to the east. Sweden is also connected to Denmark by a bridge-tunnel across the Öresund.

Our First Mod: ConfusedCartman
Well, the traffic has really picked up, and it was time to pick our fist moderator. ConfusedCartman will be the first mod on LBPCentral forums. Here's a breakdown of why I think he deserved it first:

1) He brought in a HUGE amount of traffic with his Comic Con preview. We're talking having a few people here and there coming to having a spike on that day of over 5000 visitors. Since then, the forums have grown from around 10 active users to around 150. Basically, his preview is the reason why we even need a moderator. LOL

2) He's secured an Interview with Media Molecule for us. Something I didn't have the gusto to secure.

3) There are MANY helpful and useful members on these boards, but I've received the most PMs and messages from other members to have him reach mod status. The best reputation you can get is when you aren't asking for it, and others make mention of it. People PM'd me the most out of the blue about making him a mod.
