Help Sackboy in his quest to play LittleBigPlanet. The only thing in his way are...his chores? (Also, the fact that seemingly all the doors in his house are locked using random hidden switches doesn't help.)

This was an old level I made back in LBP1 that I've updated and republished in LBP2. I would really appreciate any feedback!

This looks like fun, I'll write it down on my (massive) to-play list. :)

This level was really well done, at least what I finished... it's just so long. I did the entire house, then I got in the car, assuming I'd be headed to the scoreboard.. but then there was a long grocery store thing too. Great job on all the stuff, everything looks custom made and really well done.

It's obvious you put alot of time into camera movement and custom-made objects. The level has a very professional look (except for the characters). I think the level is a little long but I'm still hearting it and giving it 5 stars, I'll finish it up later.

All the mechanics are pretty good, it's good puzzling solving. The room with the four lights is very difficult tho, IMO. Where you have to drag all the clothing in, it was a little hard to figure out what to do. That's probably just me being stupid though, good job.

I wish my PS3 was working - I'd give this level a shot. I can tell from the screenshots that you've put some work into it. :)

I didn`t finish.

Wasn`t sure what I was supposed to be doing in the grocery store (I missed the dialogue). Then when I pulled the green bar a massive block of metal appeared and disappeared in and instant. Dunno what the deal there was.

Then the trolley got stuck in the freezer. I pushed it along to the right and it got jammed in so that was the end for me.

It`s very well made though so you still got 5 stars from me.

In the supermarket, you had to get all the items in the shopping list. The green bar is for if something gets stuck in front of the cart. I know, its stupid, but it was necessary.

Not sure where the cart got stuck for you. If it was in the freezer, there's a part you have to leave the cart in 1 spot and go get the food you need to get.

I checked it out last night and it's really cute. The depth illusion of the road in the beginning was really interesting. It sort of gave me a disoriented feeling though. I'm not used to LBP levels going that deep and it messed me up for a second. lol

The living room, kitchen and bedrooms are all really nicely done. I love that you have to mop the floor and put your clothes away and make your bed - very clever. The lighting you have in there is really nice too. Soft warm glow of the lamps in the living room was especially nice. The stairs are a bit chunky compared to some of the lovely details you have in the rest of the house but it's not a major con in my view.

The concept of grocery shopping is great! I think the drop stuff in a cart puzzle type of gameplay is pretty interesting and I don't think I've seen it before so it's really unique. I had no problems with the dried goods but then I got to the freezer.... I didn't understand which section I needed to do first as there were a ton of arrows that confused me more than helped. After breaking the level by getting the cart stuck on the right hand side of the screen and being unable to get the first frozen item from the floor to the cart I realized I had to do the first item first.... seems obvious now but I was totally mystified when seeing the room for the first time.

I wasn't able to finish it after lodging the cart but I hope to go back tonight to finish it.

I gave it 4 stars for the incredible detail work and the fun concept of the level. Thanks for sharing it!

Thanks a lot for playing! I think the part a lot of people are getting stuck on is when you have to leave the cart on the right side of the screen and an arrow comes down and doesn't let you move the cart. After that you just go up and get the two items you have to get (juice and box of sausage).

Woah, just noticed I got recognized by an Admin. That's awesome. I hope you get to play it when your PS3 works. I would love to get your opinion.

I opened this up... right before I had to leave lol! I hearted it for easy access, and I'll play it again soon to let you know if it deserved it lol!

I'm thinking of changing the supermarket part. I'm getting a lot of complaints that its too boring :(.

:O Looks like my level got like 300+ plays overnight and made it Cool Levels page 5. Too bad it made it the same day it was supposed to come off Cool Levels :(.

Darn, that's unlucky. Was just reading the thread. Over an entire day of play LBP I completely forgot to play this!

Okay, just doing this as I go. Every sentence starting with + is good, - is suggestion/problem.

+ The intro is superb. I actuall thought it was 3d. The people in the house on the left made me laugh too.

- Make your own people to put in that house? They called me a funny creature, but they were sackind also. You should make them different.

- Starting camerazone - move it slightly down, atm when you jump it cuts of sackboy for a couple of seconds. Adjust the player tracking a couple of notches.

- I broke the house key! Always, always, emit keys. Set it to max emitted = infinite, lifetime = infinite, max emitted at once = 1. Then sticker a button/grabswitch/sensor switch to one shot hooked up to the emitter. Press the button and you get a new key!

+ The house looks very nice. Simple, but nice. I like the little effects, like the glass breaking sound effect, and the grabswitches hooked up to a checkpoint to explain what something is. Very nice!

+ The chores are very nice. Taking out rubbish and mopping the floor was actually *gasp* fun. Maybe it's becaues I'm not smelling, not gagging, and it takes 5 seconds. Something like that.

+ The bedroom is very, very cool. The attention to detail is brilliant! 99/100 creators wouldn't have let the drawers open, let alone hide prizes in them!

+ And who would have put a button in there lol!

- The hanging part with bubbles, where you have to grab the base in the bedroom, it isn't very apparent that it's grabbable.

- You should make the pistons on the stairs invisible now?

+ Very thoughtful to make the stairs in separated blocks, making it easier to climb.

- Okay, WTF just happened? I'm upstairs in what I believe is the last room (the boys bedroom). I brought everything (the shoes, the shirt, the pants) and NOTHING HAPPENED! The all dissapeared, and I got task complete music, but the door wouldn't open!

Thanks a lot for all the feedback. There's also a pillow you have to put on the bed after that. There's a picture in the top right of the room which points to all 4 things you have to move.

- For the key, why don't you make it dissolve when you get to it and the door automatically open. It is hard to get it up the stairs!

- Make the pillows bigger and white? They blend in.

- I agree the grocery store is boring. Add more visual flair, and make it less repetitive!

- After falling asleep at the grocery store.... The ending was cool!

- Why so many switches in the level? I mean, you don't pull a switch when you do chores!

FEEEEDBACK!

- Okay, first off loved the 3D perspective start :)
- Didn't like first challengs, getting the key to the door. I broke it :/ Any chance of making it easier to get up the steps?

- In the house! It's a friendly level for the eyes :)
- Love the chores! Wait wot... (seriously - neat touch :) )
- Bit of a visual glitch outside on the tree... odd.
- While the shopping was a neat touch... it got a bit boring... maybe if the shop had more detail?
- When jumping on the ketchup... the camera was jolty due to change of camera angle. Made it a bit harder unneccesarily.
- I put everything on the treadmill and now i'm stuck :( Unfortuanatly i just don't have the time to restart the level. I think one of the boxes flew to the other side of the counter as something is there :(

Overall - 4 stars :) If it wasn't for that glitch i probably would of finished it.

EDIT: This almost looks a bit mean. Don't get me wrong - i really liked the level :) Particularly the stuff in the house.

In that pic the living room seems so realstic, nice!
Seems well made, i'll give it a try later today.
