Uhh.. Shivers... :boo:
Agreed with flamingemu.
That picture made me lol so much.
Anyway.. I liked hearing everyone's favourite parts of the project! So let's ask more questions like that instead of asking them to hurry up and whatnot.
Question:What have you learnt from the project? Whether it be creating-wise or just real life skills. What have you taken from it? :)
Oh! Oh! Oh! Can I haz ask a question?
Question: At the start of the project when you decided what each level would be but hadn't made anything yet, did you have a level you personally thought would be the best?
RPG
hmmmm...
:)
Rocket propelled granade :D
I've taken pride mostly... I'm sure I gained a lot of skills somewhere down the line, but my immediate reaction is just pride and happiness. I'm sure I learnt teamwork or some nonsense down the line >_>
Well, not too sure how to answer this question, so I'll just pseudo answer it.
The first plan was Astrosimi's idea for something like Megaman- you would have the intro level, the outro level, and 6 worlds. You can go through the worlds in any order, and then get a sticker at the end, which is a food item. You would then feed Moleynator and he would burrow a tunnel into CC's castle.
I dropped that well over a year ago.
The format as you know it today, I drew up on a piece of paper in Biology class last year. There were a few differences, namely the fact there were 14 levels and a different level 10 (And also the Gulf of Creation was just going to be a boat ride where you fight off endless waves of enemies), but it stayed the same format other then that.
I dropped one of the levels for pretty much being the same thing as another level, and then we had 13. Those 13 levels stayed and were drawn up before any current team member signed on really, so they didn't really have much input on the layout :/
The only thing is that Burn suggested a different level 10, and we decided to roll with that because it was better.
Some other people suggested different minigames (I think Zwollie thought of one, Burn thought of another, then I thought another one while on the toilet... seriously. ;-;)
... Yeah. /cough
Anywho.
Any more questions?
Question:
WHAt has been the best part of LBPCTG so far?
I actually love that idea. I do prefer the format we know today, but that is pretty smart! :)Quote:

I've learned that I really don't know how to answer this question :p If I can think of a suitable answer, I'll post it later. Everyone's learned a few tips and tricks in LBP, and i'm sure we've learned a few life lessons too, but i'm not sure if there are any that stand out in particular. I've also learned I use smilies a lot.
Its really hard to say. I wasn't entirely around for the start, but when I joined we were still tossing around ideas for levels (hence my idea for level 10). There is a lot of variety between levels as well, and its really hard to compare something like the fun and friendly atmosphere of level 2, to the doom and gloom of level 10. Most of our levels started out as somewhat of a blank slate- we had the basic idea for what a level would be themed at, and a vague idea of how to start and end it, but the middle area is something which has evolved over time. This is where everyones creativity really has shined, as we've found new ways to incorporate LBPC members, to create fun platforming, and to give life to the story.
See previous page with "favorite part of LBPCTG".
Lately its been the LBP2 mania for me XD Right off the bat, in level 13 i'd use sackbots, impoved camera controls, destruction effects, fog effects, and i'd probably even try sticking in the grappling hook. But there's no way i'm waiting that long :p The second hardest part I'd say is just the time involved. We can all see it coming together, and we all know that we have real lives that keep us busy, but its still a bit frustrating that after a year we still haven't completed the project.
Probably because 1) people are interested in things about this project and 2) There isn't really that much to discuss as of yet :p When it is FINALLY released, you all will have things to talk about related to levels, etc... right now, you only have some screenies, a video, and whatever we say in this thread to go by.
Hm...
Well, remember that maze thing we had that contest for?
Well, it's pretty much all there. It's almost all wired up, and I can actually finish what little work is left...for the most part.
I'm nowhere near my PS3 right now, but if people want to bother me later on to make sure I finish that up, I won't object :p
But that level is insane... I honestly think it may make some peoples PS3s explode D:
... Or not really. But still. It's messy.
Hm... Well, Burnvictim seems to be closing in on level 13... He's already done stages 2-5 for the most part, and now he just needs to do stage 1 (he's doing it backwards so he can, you know... eat pizza) and the rest SHOULD be cake...
Hm... then, uh... I unno.
... Anyone on my PS3 friends list, if you see me playing a game that is NOT LBP when In get home, feel free to threaten me to finish that thing I must do, k? k.
is there a way to join this somehow anymore? i know beta testers isn't avaiable anymore, so... well is there anything i could help with or is it all full? (and IF there where, does it require any paticular stats...? ¬¬ )
