That reminds me, we should probably think up another question to keep the thread going...
Question - When did you get the idea of a "LBPC themed" project?

An LBPC Project?
WELL, that might be my LBPC RPG I was planing November 08... Never got anywhere, but I got the basic story of you hunting down the mods to get to CC one by one from there.
In January 09, I made a thread saying someone should do it and that it couldn't possibly be me (;o), and it got three repleis, one of which was probably me. so that was dropped.
In March 09 I tried again. I thought some ideas up with some people (none who are actually LBPC The Game creators D:), then sent a pm to CC with Astrosimi's Megama-esque idea, asking for a private forum and official support when it arrived.
At that point, I was literally forced to do it because I didn't want to let CC down. If CC hadn't given me official support, even during those horrendous early months, there's no way I would have stuck through with it.
Then I sent a few pms to people asking if they wanted in (huge mistake, should have done applications, which of course I eventually did and that's how I got everyone who's currently on the team). Was a mess till July 09, when Lady Luck, Rick Rock and Takelow joined and helped set it on the right path, and from then on this was actually going somewhere.
So I guess the answer to your question depends on what you mean by LBPC project- if it was in LBP or, say, an RPG.
*nostalgic sigh*
I remember the first ever mention of LBPC: TG :)
Those were the days.. :)
Y'know, with LBP2 coming up, perhaps that whole "LBPC RPG" idea could work... ;)
Yeah, the first few months were hectic. Never got anything done, and about half of the staff wasn't committed (including myself, unfortunately :(). I've seriously regretted dropping out of the project so early. Then again, I'm WAAAY more different than I was around that time. At least I was able to contribute through the LBPC: FOHG competition. That sure was fun! :)
Well, I meant the entire thing actually, so yeah, you answered my question.
I know how hard being a project leader is, doesn't that bring back memories...
You mean the Prop builders? Eh, you guys didn't really count... I kinda just let Astrosimi make you guys just so he could do something...
But none of the staff was really good... though that's partially because no one really wanted to, I kinda kidnapped CCubbage honestly :/ And Whaaaaaaaaaale was into it but not much better then me at building... and CreateAndPlay...why did I ever hrie him? O-o
Ah well. Yep.
... Should LBPC: The Game 2 be an RPG? D:
I DUNNO /sniped
So, how exactly does mentioning what Outlaw Jack said by saying if it was ok warrant a "whack on the head" when I'm bored to death sitting at this computer?
Seriously, he suggested it, I considered it FOR FIVE ****ING SECONDS, and apparently thinking about the future when I have all the time I need is stupid?
Why the **** don't YOu ****ing think before typing >_<
No, you didn't. you didn't do anything. You made a passing comment about a cool idea for LBP2, I contemplated it, and then some idiot just comes and says that THAT is too much thinking outside of LBPC The Game >_>
Apparently I need ANOTHER idiot to "whack my head" because, god help me, I replied to something NOT LBPC The Game.
No, you didn't do anything. You did absolutely nothing.
so uh... awkward :S
Question to stop things getting out of hand:
what do you think LBPCTG will acheive when it is released? ie. sackies etc
Wow.. chill down evil one. I won't darken your door again. All is fine.
Just good luck on your project.
/runs in fear/
why don't we all just freeze and think about where us arguing about something so small will take it? come on guys let's all just clam down and sit a spell...and wait patiently for this thing to be done okay?

In order to keep this post on topic, Rock - is that song going to be in LBPCTG anywhere?
how if LBP2 isn't even out?
If I can interject here. I've been having a little read of the last couple of pages and - at the risk of keeping this "issue" going - I thought it might be helpful to point out a couple of things. I have learned that, in life, our relationships with the people we have to work with are important and need to be treated with some care and respect. Rock, I think you have misunderstood what jww was saying to you. I'm pretty sure I understood him as meaning that you cannot and should not dismiss those working with you or for you (or whatever) as being of no importance and of no consequence. This is especially important if you should ever find yourself as the manager of a team or project.
The comments jw initially took umbrance at were, in my opinion also, quite dismissive and had I been one of the people working on props for the project I would have been quite saddened to realise that person in charge really couldn't give a stuff about my contribution. Now that may not have been your intention, Rock, but that's how it came across and that's why it was suggested that you think carefully before you commit your opinions to type. You are welcome to have that opinion, but it's really bad PR for you and the project to make those opinions public.
I like you Rock and I think you've done a great thing by putting this project together. However, you are often a little dismissive in your remarks and put others down and I would hate to see that lessen the respect people have for you, as is already starting to happen.
I've said my piece now and so please go about your previous Q and A session with no more aggression and foul mouthed intent. I don't want to have to hunt out the bar of soap. ;)
you know...you've been one of the few mods i havent had the pleasure of conversing with or running into....but i can tell from that speech that i like you and you've got a way with handling stressful situations...my hats off to you :)
and here's hoping the project goes a little calmer now :)
