If you are wanting to delete many things that are attached to each other, instead of pressing triangle to detach an item and then triangle again to delete it and having to do that for separately for every one, if you just hold triangle they all get deleted in one go.

Maybe you could add the fact that you can press an object in the direction of another to glue it to that object. Its very handy to know if an object is surrounded by a couple of others, but you only want to glue it to the object to the right of it (for example), you'll know what objects will be glued because they will be highlighted. I think most people know this, but it'd be a good tip for beginners. Its pretty much the same principle as pressing L1/L2 when gluing.

brnxblze, here is another delete trick for deleting multiple objects at the same time that are not attached to each other.

Place your cursor at a point just above and to the left, or right, of a group of unattached objects that you want to delete. Press and hold down the "X" and draw a select box around all of the objects. This will select every object that is fully encompassed within the box. Now press "Triangle" and all the objects will be deleted. You can also press L3 to copy all of the objects, rather than delete them.

Notes: This technique works best with Grid On. And start the draw by holding "X" and moving the cursor straight down before moving the cursor to the left or right. This prevents the select box from shifting to the right or left when the view begins to Pan.

Trick to make testing levels easier:
Want to test a part of your level but don't want to play through the whole thing to get there? Well all you have to do is place an entrance where the part is that you want to test and delete your entrance in the beginning. If you have decorations and things on it just make sure to capture it first.

Invite friends without having to go to their levels:
When people invite me into their pods, I see that a lot of them do it by going to where it shows my levels. Well there's an quicker way to do it, all you have to do is press start, friends and it shows all your friends that are online and an option to invite or join them.

Nice man. There was a couple in there I didn't know. I'm always surprised when people don't know about/use the grid. I learned the hard way. But it does make life alot easier. I'm almost finished my first full level and there's no way I could have done it without it.

Added on 6.08-Sort things in the Pop-it:
It seems like a lot of people don't know that this is possible. To sort items in the pop-it just go to the area that you want to sort (costumes, stickers/decorations, materials etc.) and press R1. There you will see the options you can sort by.

Edit:
The options you can sort by are newest (In the order you got the item in, not always correct), Category (which is the default way it is sorted), and by Theme (Monster Kit, Buzz, Heavenly Sword etc.).

Added on 6.12-Simple counting mechanism:
Why waste time with all this complex logic to make counting mechanisms? All you have to do is get a paintball (If you have the MGS pack, just go to create mode, put a paintanator in the level, pause the game, shoot a paintball in the air, and capture it. If you don't have MGS, find a level that gives out a paintball, try searching for "paintball" or something like that) then you make a box with a hole in the middle, set an emitter at the top of the box so that it shoots the paintball into the box, connect whatever switch (whether it be sticker switches for sticker enemies or grab switches for lock combinations) you want to the emitter (set to one-shot), put a paintinator switch on the box somewhere and tweak it to how many times you want it to count.

A trick i use to test sections of my levels.
Pause then unpause time, then run through in edit mode.
then hit undo and it takes you back to when you paused time.
I dont know if that counts as a trick actually.

More like a tip, actually. I use this all the time, and it's very useful.

I do that as well, it is very useful. Adding it to the first post.

Here's one I use which is a pretty peculiar trick.

Make creature brains & other objects smaller
When you shrink creature brains, two-way switches, spikes and the like, the game doesn't allow you to make them very small. If you tilt the object at a 45 degree angle, you are suddenly allowed to shrink the object much further than if the object was placed vertical or horizontal.

I know this trick works with Creature brains, Two-Way and Three-Way switches, Button switches and Spikes.

Cool, I'll add also that to make creature brains and rockets smaller you can't hover over anything, you have to do it in the air.

Added on 6.17-Stickering tip for Create Mode:
One of the annoying things about Create Mode is that when you try to make a sticker too big it zooms out the camera and then you can't place it. To stop this from happening, turn on the grid and when you make the sticker big it makes the camera zoom out but not far enough that it doesn't let you place the sticker.

Heres one some people might not know, if you glue two thicklayers together the thin layer between them can still be used. Basically anything on the thin layer will slide right through.

also if you have a connector attached to an object like a rod, you can grab the end object connected to the end of the connector with your popit, change to grid, and move that part out of the way, and when your done you let go of it, unpause, and it snaps back to its original length.
