Zelda Majora's Mask Tribute remaking the 1st 3 days

Hi just showing what im be working on in little bits i made one like this is the pass but i was still leaning and i plan this one out better

and with the new tools i want to make it so that 3 days pass in time as you play or somthing feel free to toss in ideas

it not done yet maybe i get it done this week and with MM come out on VC pushing me more to redo this :)

Just one question... Will you be taking the old one and making changes, or just rebuilding the whole level from scratch??

You've got some nice ideas in there, I particularly liked the flower gliding and bouncing mechanics, it really emulates the original.

I think maybe you could have the transformation bit a little more dramatic. Have the big Scrub-Link head on a wobble bolt or something, and with global lighting you could have the colours change.

all of it really from scratch but i did keep most of the start the woods the same

I drop the flower gliding and bouncing for a stoping on a flower for 4 sec sound speed up and it shoots you up and you have to drop down on some where safe, the old one didt work that well and when they was more then 1 player it was just hell XD 2player = you come down faster

Aww... I suppose you're right about it being messy in 2 or more player...

Maybe you could have the top of the flower grabbable, when it pops up you, you grab onto it and it glides you to the next one??

Just thinking through that now, it'd still be very hard to do right. If I think of anything, I'll post here, because I'm a huge Zelda fan. I've only played the first part of Majora's Mask though, up until you get the ocarina back, but thats all you're planning to do right?

I think that it would be hard making it big enough to fit the whole story, but if you could fit more than the "first 3 days" you could make it so there's only 1 infinite life checkpoint, and after 3 days you have to go back to the first day (get killed)

That's definitely going for too much for 1 level though, and would mean a lot of repetition...

Btw, I really enjoyed your original version of this Zelda-tribute and I can't wait for this remake.

I hate to double post, but I have finished your Town Music loop. It's the longest loop I've ever done, it's roughly 30 seconds long ( I hope there are no problems, well, there shouldn't be any ;)). With that done and dusted, would you like me to do the Song of Storms as well?

it's looking amazing in screenshots though, and Majora's Mask is one of my favorite games. An honorable attempt. If it's a huge hassle and pain, it'll be all the more awesome when it's finally complete.

I'm just honestly relieved to see such a talented creator get really frustrated and exhausted while creating. Because I'm the same way. I just can't do it anymore, man!

People have looping "town music"? I'm making an RPG that has multiple towns, not all of which have music yet. Would it be possible to hear the exact music in question?

I have a music contraption (right now it's player-prox) that plays song of time. I have full version and part of it (the part you hear when played on ocarina, not the full version). I could let you tweak it for the last part of part 1.
