Photoshop is far better than GIMP ArmedReaper, just more complex. I have to use GIMP though - andI'm in :)

i've got Photoshop too... but i'm too used to Gimp :p

of course, deadline for round 1 is going to be 2 Sundays from now - so July 5th I'll be judging if I'm not on the road (I'm going on vacation around then) But in that case the second I get online after that, I'll judge round 1 - and all entrants are accepted in the first round!

I actually used paintshop pro, which is the combined simpleness of GIMP and the complex parts of photoshop, inwhich was really good..

It's a shame to see this contest isn't active alot.

I guess I start off first. I created a signature of the movie; X-men origins! I loved the movie and it was a must do.

I also completed it by cropping a piece of the signature for a matching avatar!

hey there's nothing wrong with a classic high res render over a sweet background, a really nice border and a money lighting effect!
