Everything LMFAO
Awesome just shuffling to...
I'm listening to the recording of the concert that a group of Sweden students have just given at my high school, in France :)
They put on quite a show, but unfortunately, they didn't sell records so I'll have to settle for my low-quality recording!

The Czar - Mastodon

I fell asleep for like 1 hour yesterday and I woke up exactly when this song was playing. :D
I'm very surprised nearly nobody listens to electronic music like this here. But I do :D

Electronic items, by nature, are particularly hard on the ears. They're unharmonius, their basslines sound like dulled farts, voices featured in songs like the such you posted are either a jarring feminine voice or toddler-aged children, which is very appalling to many. There's no structure, form, instrumental talent, or composed genius in any electronic titles, which is why nobody listens to them.
currently I'm listening to my twins running around screaming. BRB
That is one of the most breathtakingly ignorant and insulting things I have ever seen on LBPC. You should be ashamed of yourself.
Don't like electronic music? That's fine, that's your opinion. I don't really like modern country (but some really old Merle Haggard or Johnny Cash can be awesome), but I don't make the mistake of thinking my opinion is any kind of objective truth.
But let's deal with your ignorant points, one by one:
unharmonious
I'm pretty certain you don't even understand what the word 'harmony' means. Please go visit Wikipedia and/or a book on basic music theory and we can return to this point when you are capable of understanding it.
Basslines sound like dulled farts
Ignorance that isn't even worth my time to address.
jarring feminine voice or toddler-aged children
Hm, perhaps you should have a word with Justine Suissa, Sarah McLachlan, Tori Amos, Dido, Beth Orton, the collective of singers who work with Delerium... I could go on. The point is, all of these women have gorgeous voices, and do a lot of work in electronic music. Toddler-aged children is confined to a specific subgenre, happy hardcore. Nice try, but your ignorance is showing again.
There's no structure, form, instrumental talent, or composed genius in any electronic titles
This is such a manifestly stupid statement it actually hurts. No structure? No form? You have never listened to a single piece of electronic music in your lfie if you are being honest when you say this. Either that or you're deliberately lying in order to troll, or you simply do not have even enough basic musical knowledge to understand anything.
As for genius... perhaps you should have a word with BT or Jean-Michel Jarre or Kraftwerk or William Orbit or Whatsit Moog, or Richard James or Norman Cook or any of the other thousands upon thousands upon thousands of electronic musicians worldwide .
which is why nobody listens to them
Uh. That may have been the case up until the mid-70's, when electronic music was mostly musique concrete and not particularly mainstream. Disco, followed by house, techno, trance, dnb, and triphop (to name only the biggest ur-genres) ever so slightly changed all of that.
Ignorance is one thing, it can be educated away. Aggressive ignorance which pretends to be informed? It's repellent. Grow up.
