I had a hard time loading levels and edditing them, it kept freezing when i touched something, but I deleted unused downloaded levels, empty my moon levels, and a whole lot of community objects, it was like 516/100 and my objects! I hope this helps someone!
Oh my gosh, taffey you are my best friend. I've been corrupted before, so I know what it looks like when it's about to. When scrolling through downloaded levels a few just float in the air off of the planet and never move. This just happened to me again. Luckily I backed up my data a while ago. Anyways I immediately quit the game and went to this thread trying to fix it by going to my moon, saving the level, and playing a story mode level. It fixed it!!! I love you!!! lol jk

I've also come across the weird "floating level icon" thing. I've had it happen and eventually go away by itself, but I've also had it followed by a profile corruption on occasion.
In any case, I just recently ran my usual weekly backup of my profile. Who here has backed up their profile recently? Speak up and I'll give you a cookie!*

Well, I've been getting tons of freezes lately, but from the description of the corrupt profile I guess my profile isn't corrupted. (I can still play levels and create stuff, it's just really unstable as far as when it will decide to freeze on me)
And if it gets me a cookie, my last backup was yesterday. :P (And before that was Aug 26, before that was Aug 25, then Aug 24, and finally Aug 20. I have earlier ones but they're too out of date.)
I also keep at least 3 in-game backups of whatever levels I'm working on.
Yeah... I've been pretty paranoid lately with all the freezes. @_@

HALP! LBP works normally and I am able to create but it seems that one level is corrupted. I am unable to open it, it just loads forever! (I waited a really long time)
It just happened suddenly, I tried to playtest and it just kept loading and loading...
I have no previous backups of that level (yes, I am stupid) and only backup I have now is that corrupted one...
Does anyone know a solution to this? I wouldn't want to create everything from scratch...
I don't think there's anything to do about that, sorry man... I have some files to that load forever :(
That due to Turbo! pack most of the time, there a thread somewhere on how to avoid it, but unfortunately if its already happened theres nothing you can do. :(
Now that you mention it, it happened right after I used that turbo pack wood... :cry:
I'll keep the level saved, maybe it gets patched.
I'll make the other chapters out of the way, then if I seem to have everything done and no patch in sight I'll remake it...
(I'm talking about the LOST GOLD chapters here, the level that is corrupted is chapter 2...)
My corrupt profile experience.
I downloaded a junk communty level off the community moon, it was pretty junky but he gave me a LOT of worthless items. I always check my items before deleting them though, so after that the 3rd to last item gave me a pop up message saying the data could not be found. I deleted the item. The following day I launched LBP and the same message popped up again. So I switched off. This process is recurring by the way, I thought it was just a glitch. It only gave me the option to say "OK". So I kept pressing. It kept popping up. After a day I realised I haven't lost my LBP PSP. If I rushed to the My moon and went into create mode the message wouldn't pop up. Same with story mode levels. Just not downloaded levels. Then I set off to find help, leading me to the ultimate source of LBP related knowledge, Taffey, an abyss of knowledge if you will. He helped me out significantly. In the end I decided to delete my data and go to GameFAQ and download another LBP data fully beaten. All I have to do again is ace story mode, beat all the Turbo! premium level kit levels, and make a backup data after I'm done. I also should backup my lil' bro's data too so he doesn't lose his data as I have.

i encountered a corruption that was really bad. i was in my moon, ok?, i went out of my moon and went to downloded levels. and to my surprise all the downloded levels except for the ones i got that day were gone! so i thought to myself i better redownload thoes levels so i did. but somthing wierd was up, the levels that were hearted before they disapered were still hearted!

but i could still download them!
soooooo i went to downloaded levels played a level finished a level.... and what do you find? all the dissapered levels were back!
no i wasn't happy because some of the levels were coming off the planet.
after a bit of confusion the 'grey box of certain doom came up' .......... i geuss you know the rest of the story after that. BUT I MADE A BACKUP!! :D th taffey
Oh, thank God I copy my levels before I edit them. The game crashes CONSTANTLY! I've figured out five ways to crash my PSP so far. This is why Sony needs to come out with the PSP 4000/2. The game's already too much for the PSP's little processor!

GEEZ! THat's what happened to me! I am using my 4th or 3rd profile right now! Gosh... thanks! After i will do the Latvian right now in the morning (My mom wants me to) i will IMMEDIATLY copy it to a folder! Thanks Taffey!
Floaty level logo from downloaded levels? That's what happened to my 3rd one! Yes... i am using the 4th one already...
