I've only ever backed up the profile folder... I've never needed the install folder for anything. Or are you saying the install itself may corrupt as well?
i'm so glad to see this has happened to other people, 1 week after i got lbp (i beat all story mode) i got corrupted data and lost EVERYTHING! I deleted and reinstalled lbp data but was lucky enough i didn't lose my profile. I had to do all of story mode again to get stickers and music.
I have rebooted my save files 4 times :O corrupt, corrupt, corrupt, "unable to save load stuff"!

@Ragefullnoobs after you backed up your data u didnt put the memory card in properly this means the data could not be read.
when you put it into the other psp u got it in in the right way so the data could be read. u dont need 2 psps to get that problem sorted
Um, when i try to look for UCUS98744PROFILE nothing comes up… it just shows UCUS98744INSTALL and then just UCUS98744
That's interesting... Well, the UCUS98744 folder should be the one you're looking for. Does it contain a file named FECONFIG?Quote:

Speaking of, I never got around to mentioning this, but I also almost lost my newest level due to corruption - except I had been saving endless backups.

Ok I guess I deserve that stupid image B3!! I didn't back up and I got hit with this stupid bug!!! GRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!
But all is not lost! I backed up my corrupted file on to another memory stick(so that I can publish my really hard work as copyable so I can download it), and deleted it on my usual one, so now I have to start again, but then once I've aced everything, I'll make a back up that I can always fall back on if I need too.
So if there's anyone out there who needs to know where to find something, ask me to find it for you while I go and replay all Story and Turbo! levels and I'll let you know.
I'm working on a new level and I started to make regular backups again ;)

If you can't backup you data and you want to protect your noncomleted levels, I came up with an idea.
1. Take your level and place the entrance in a nonescapable box preventing people from viewing the level.
2. Now you make the level noncopyable and publish it.
If your profile corrupts, all you need to do is create a new one and download your level, and copy them to my moon. All your levels are copyable to you and you only if you made them noncopyable. (is that confusing)
