The Doctor: Egyptian Findings by Jackofcourse/JackofcourseMy latest level is the introduction to a series, a quick romp through a pyramid style setting! There's lots of secret areas and little hideaways stashed with bubbles throughout the level.
Cap'n Sackbeard's Booty [Beta Remake] by GruntosUK, rtm223, OmegaSlayer & comphermc/comphermc![]()
Jack's back with a short but very sweet level set in Egypt. Great use of layers and some top notch platforming in the warm cream shades of stone and sand that make up the very geometric and complex environment. The traps are especially funny to trip off and show inventiveness and a bit of humor. Sci-fi fans shouldn't miss this one either since there's a particularly famous cameo.
![]()
Take a trip through time with a certain Scottish Cockney back to ancient Egypt and run and jump your way through puzzles and past treacherous traps. As you would expect, it looks great and the logic is obviously top notch though comes across as simple and effortless.
![]()
This level has everything you have come to expect from Mr. J. Ofcourse, awesome mechanics, intuitive gameplay, and great asthetics. It has what most of his levels don't to however, the promise of a series and story. He's chosen a great subject matter, and the sky's the limit with where he can go next, but you can guarantee that Jack will aim above and beyond that if this introduction is anything to go by.
![]()
Jackofcourse is back with his most ambitious project to date, a story based series inspired by Dr. Who. All the fun gameplay and inventive mechanics from his past levels are present and his clean environments are as good as ever. Free to go to any planet and mystical world from this point, we eagerly await where the tardis will take us next.
![]()
Who’s got another level spotlighted? Jackofcourse! Yeah I probably already used that one, but you loved it really – and you’re also going to love Jack’s latest level set in good old Egypt! Classic Jackofcourse but with more secrets and even more platform action. And who can forget the special guest appearance from The Doctor himself?
Adventure through a watery cavern and try to find the fearsome Cap'n Sackbeard's treasure. Can you think your way to booty?
LBL: Fairytale - Ali Baba and the Forty Point Bubbles by CaptainCowboyHat/CaptainCowboyHat![]()
The first beta level that really exploited the layer switching gameplay possibilities of water makes it's way to LBP. There's so much that's awesome about this level I hardly know where to begin. The visuals are fantastic and varied. The gameplay is inventive and challenging. The boss battle looks amazing. Now all this would be awesome in a level by itself, but then you encoutner a 6 level water elevator by rtm223 which is the belle of this ball. Check it out and if your brain doesn't melt trying to figure out how they did it, you're probably one of them. Do not miss this level!
![]()
Congratulations folks, you made my new favourite level! This is proper professional level design which blows away anything Mm have done and IMO stands shoulder to shoulder with Miyamoto's creations. This level is a showcase of talented guys at the very top of their game. We all wondered what wonderful creations LBP would bring us when it was announced. Well this is it.
![]()
Put some of the most creative people together in an empty level and you truly get something special. This level was already considered a gem back in the beta, now released onto the rest of the unsuspecting world of LBP as an extended remake, that gem got even shinier!! It has everything you could ever want from a level: great visuals, mindblowing logic and outstanding gameplay above and below the ocean surface. I couldn’t recommend this one more!!
![]()
From the magnificent opening scene, featuring lush scenery, an angry squid and two waterfalls all the way to the scoreboard you’re treated to some of the best water-filled action LBP has to offer. Throw in a touch of humour and a dash of personality filled creatures and you have this killer level. Don’t miss out on one of the most enthralling remakes in LBP history!
My entry in the fairytale competition over at LittleBigLand. I figured I'd post it here; I'm rather pleased with it!
Pieces of Eight by bludhound/marquise126ace![]()
Bubble hunters get ready for an extreme bubble hunt! Seriously sneaky hiding spots are everywhere in the varied but always cool looking landscapes from CaptainCowboyHat. Not nearly as hard as his Oh, No! The Princess series in terms of platforming, it still has the solid gameplay we've come to expect from him. One of my favorites and certainly the most unique of the LBL Fairy Tale submissions I've played.
![]()
I had to double check the username when I was able to finish a CaptainCowboyHat level in one go…and I mean that in a good way as it shows how diverse the creator truly is by giving us something completely different from his usual “platforming deathtraps”. A fairytale contest entry that does things a bit differently by putting gameplay and exploration above the story that inspired it, I wouldn’t want it any other way from this creator.
![]()
A treasure hunt, by one of the best platforming brains LBP has to offer. Be prepared for a hunt and a half to, because Ali Baba has stashed those bubbles in some fiendish little spots throughout the level. You'll need to keep a keen eye out to spot them, but when you're eyes are diverted by the visuals, and brain engaged in navigated the level, its easier said than done. A wonderful level, that you definetly will replay in order to find them all, a feat I haven't quite managed as yet.
![]()
'Have you found all the bubbles so far?' was the question put to me by a bodyless voice hroughout the game. 'AHAHAHA!!!' was invariably my answer. Started off well, getting 8 of the first 10, but things went catastrophically downhill after that. Hours could be spent searching for all 40, and every second would be a joy.
![]()
Did Coxy224 collect all 40 point bubbles? Well…no, not even close – but it was only because I was gasping at the beautiful environments whilst getting caught up in some great platforming. CaptainCowboyHat claims to have hidden 40 point bubbles in here, but I never even found half of them – can you?
Jack Sparrow needs your help finding the 9 pieces of 8 to stop barbossa from using them to free calypso. The more you find the more rewards Jack will give you.
The Mine 2 by standby250/standby250![]()
One of the prettiest looking pirate ship based levels I've seen. Deep backgrounds compliments of the 3D/bakscratch glitch really add to the visual appeal of the level. Solid water based puzzle and platforming focusing primarily on finding bubbles and coins is fun and the varied lighting and obstacles keep it from feeling stale. A fun level for all skill levels and pirate aficionados… yarg!
![]()
Set aboard a great looking pirate ship that uses most of the new Pirate stuff to great effect, this level has you exploring to find Jack's pieces of eight. I loved the puzzles, and I adored the sharks even though they crept up and killed me more than once. I managed to find all eight can you?
![]()
The first thing that sprang to mind when this level started up was that I figured I must have missed the part of the new Mm background set inside a ship. It actually took me a few minutes to work out that marquise126ace had created it on their own. The level really is that polished. Thankfully there's more to do than gawp at the scenery and it comes with good platforming and exploration. And of course it's a pirate level so I love it!
![]()
Lots of exploring awaits you in this level as you will need to help ol’ Jack find 9 pieces of eight. As mentioned above me, the custom background is very well done and you almost forget you are looking at something custom built for this level. Great platforming, some interesting water puzzles and lots of piratey goodness.
Sackboy continues his journey into the deep dark mines, hoping that one day he will see daylight. But he must use his enviroment around him in order to progress through the mines, and keep his fingers crossed.
In Pursuit of the Meddling Magpie by TheAdipose, Luos_desruc/TheAdipose![]()
The sequel to the brain prodding level The Mine is finally here and it picks up right where the first left off. More thoughtfully constructed puzzles to tease your brain and equally thoughtful platforming that will require your full attention. Very dramatic lighting makes for a high contrast and warm feeling environment as well. Great variety of challenges to experience if you dare descend back into the mine!
![]()
The sequel to that brain-twisting level , The Mine, has finally arrived and with fear of my head imploding, I picked up the controller. It is safe to say that the brainteasers are still present although the sequel focuses a bit more on platforming this time around. There are still puzzles that will have you scratching your noggin but they are in fewer numbers, giving the ol’ brain some rest between sections. More varied than its predecessor, it remains fresh and is an absolute delight to play from start to finish.
The ruby ring has been swiftly stolen by the meddling magpie - can you get it back?!?(watch video)
Sky Town's Rain Factory part 2 by jump_button/jump_button![]()
Lighthearted in spirit this is a level with heart. Tons to do and such variety! There's choices a plenty for people who prefer puzzles versus platforming and vice versa. Don't think it's all fun and games though, some paths are tougher than others so choose wisely. Rhyming and poetic story telling that is both funny and well crafted will amuse players of all ages as will the memorable characters you meet in this charmingly challenging level.
![]()
Firstly, I thought this was an excellent idea for a level, and a good idea always turns into a great level and this is no exception. With the choice of a path of puzzles, or a hike through hazards it really has got something for everyone. The puzzles are some of the best I've yet seen in LBP and require genuine thought to overcome, and the platforming is no cake walk either. Beautiful and absorbing with a fantastically fun ending, you got to play this one.
![]()
With enough variety and choice to last 2 or 3 playthroughs, you're definitely getting your money's worth with this level. And don't let the cutesy look and funny characters fool you, some of this level is tough!
![]()
Hate it when you’re stumped by a puzzle and can’t beat a level? Or maybe you can’t reach the end because of your platforming skills failing? Then hop along to this level where you have the choice to take either route! Along the way you’ll also be treated to some great character design, devious logic and a frantic race. And don’t be afraid to bring the kids along either – hint butterflies are perfectly placed to help them out. These guys were really onto a winner when they published this.
The second part of Sky Town's Rain Factory levels. Somthing gone wrong over at the Rain Factory, With only a balloon to help you jump and fly across the sky's.
Tactical Mission H4 by warlord_evil/warlord_evil![]()
No one in LBP does balloon levels like Jump_Button can. More of the balloon assisted platfoming that you've come to expect from his Sky Town Levels with new twists on the mechanic that will have you asking, how he do that? Especially noteworthy are his wind areas that will push sackboy into walls of nasty spikes and some gorgeous rain effects. I never get tired of the intricate and gorgeous 3D/bakscratch glitch backgrounds theses levels include and this one has some real memorable moments. He says it may be his last Sky Town level so don't miss the chance to play one of the most innovative and unique levels out there.
![]()
Jump_Button mentioned that this might be the final level in his popular sky town series, if so, he is certainly going out with a bang. Everything we loved about the previous adventures is present, along with a few new twists and turns. The beautifully crafted world of Sky Town never ceases to amaze me and the mileage he gets out of that little balloon concept is amazing to say the least. Arguably the best of the Sky Town bunch, definitely an adventure worth taking.
![]()
OK, so we all know what to expect from a Sky Town level, great visuals, amazing layer glitch, and wonderful floaty gameplay mechanics. And I think everyone would have been happy with that, but Jump is not one to rest on laurels and has a created a few "WOW" moments, from the blowing leaves, the updraft and the superb rain effects. I'm sad this may be last, but what a way to end it.
![]()
The winds have turned for this creator as he brings a second part to his floaty sky town level. If you haven’t played a jump_button level before then you’ve missed out on everything that makes LBP great – so put it right and pay this level a visit. Nothing beats the feeling of riding along on your balloon, dodging some spikes and landing neatly on a scoreboard – so go do it!
A level facility has been using more energy than usual, you need to investigate it without alerting them!
Deflectorball by Nuclearfish/Nuclearfish![]()
Explosive action, great lighting and MGS styled mayhem await you in this level by warlord_evil. A revamp/rebuild of his original level The Wolf, this successor ramps up all the first incarnation did right and then some. Fierce paintinator action and an awesome boss encounter will leave you energized. A fun level that's light on puzzles and heavy on action!
![]()
Based around the MGS solid pack, this level literally is a blast to play. Shoot your way through a great looking facility, thats beautifully lit and designed, to reach the showdown with a huge and simply brilliant boss, who's great fun to fight. Packed full of blasting goodness, you get plenty of bang for buck with this level thats for sure.
![]()
Action fans rejoice! Warlord_evil has made a fantastic shooter that not only looks suuperb but plays brilliantly too. Who needs Modern Warfare 2 when you have levels like these!
![]()
I have to admit that I had a slight déjà vu going through this level, couldn’t put my finger on it, it turned out in the end I had been playing a remake all along…but what a remake!! The frantic action in this fast paced level will have you on the edge of your seat throughout as you try to destroy a secret H4H weapon. The climax bossfight will leave you satisfied, hungry for more.
It's a competitve multiplayer minigame for 2-4 players, where you each control a 'deflector' to bounce electrical enegery balls away from your goal and into your opponents goal to eliminate them. The last player standing is the winner!
No Peg's Island by Shris & Lunieizsicc/Shris![]()
Competitive and addictive in equal measure this is an awesome level with 4 players. Visually it's great with clean and high tech looking mechanics and awesome lighting. Deflecting the energy balls away from your own goal is tricky enough but then trying to take out your friends adds a whole new level of challenge. Once you get the hang of it, it's really fun to blow up your buddies. Highly recommended for groups of 4 - let the battle begin!
![]()
The latest level by Nuclearfish brought back some good gaming memories. The goal seems simple, but trying to stay alive by deflecting energy balls from your own goals while also trying to take out the competition is trickier than it seems as one wrong move could decide your fate. A whole lot of fun in multiplayer that will have you and your friends playing it over and over again.
![]()
Multiplayer levels that are addictive, competitive, fun and don’t include bombs falling from the sky are difficult to come across – but Nuclearfish has brought us a fantastic one right here. Four players, four goals, one ball with a simple objective – don’t let the ball past your goal line. Easy to grasp the hang of, but difficult to master this one is a level that’ll keep you coming back for more.
Pirate No Pegs needs help with his tasks, complete them and he'll let you use his ship. An open world level filled with treasure to explore. This level has four tasks for you to complete. It's open world so you can complete in any order and at your own pace. There are task boards to show what needs to be done. Though they aren't direct so you must find them in order to complete them, but don't worry, there's clues. You must complete all tasks in order to use Pirate No Peg's ship.
Howdy Partners! (TWO PLAYER ONLY) by killzonequinn07 & Ruof/killzonequinn07![]()
You'll never meet another pirate like No Peg guaranteed. Character design is top notch in this open ended feeling world. Lots to do and you need to really commit to exploring every nook and cranny to get them all done. Beautiful colors and intricate landscape make it visually appealing and with the variety of game play, it's always got more to do. Glad this gem didn't completely slide under the radar, better late than never Shris & Lunieizsicc.
![]()
An open world level that as engrossing as it is stunning beautiful. Explore a well detailed and frankly huge level, populated by robots and pirates (yes, you read that right). The four tasks you are required to perform are great fun, and require quite a bit of exploration to complete, but everything is so well done that its simply a joy to play. A fantastic level that definitely rewards and amazes you in equal measures.
![]()
This open world level by creators Shris & Lunieizsicc has a bit of everything, for everyone. Do you like well crafted characters? Play this level. Do you like diverse and fun gameplay? Play this level. Do you like pretty images? Play this level. Do you like a bit of humour? Play this level. Do you like robotpirates? Definitely play this level. The open ended world and the fun tasks to complete brought a sense of nostalgia for me as I was pleasantly reminded of the original Jak & Daxter’s vibe throughout. Can't believe we almost missed this one!!
This Level will have you working with a friend in aid of The sheriff. It is a two player only adventure and I hope you enjoy.
Sack, The legendary: Level 3 of 13 by Luos_Desruc/Luos_Desruc![]()
Imagine the mines from story mode if it were all two player sections and you'll have a good starting point for this great co-op level. Throw in a cute story with nicely designed characters, some great gameplay and you have an even more rich experience. Great material choices and groovy geometry make the landscapes look great as you and your friend weave and hop your way across them. A lot of fun to play and a nice alternative to single player designed levels.
![]()
This is the type of level Online Create was released for. A root tooting coop level that tests your ability to work with one another over a Canyon themed backdrop. Wonderfully designed, with some great ideas bursting through, its a complete delight from start to finish and simply can't be missed. The pass the parcel section toward the end was my personal favourite, but it was hard choice to make with so many great sections to choose from.
![]()
Killzonequinn and Ruof make a good team as proven by their first online create project. A charming 2x level set in the far West that features some excellent co-op puzzles and platforming that use their environment to the fullest. The visuals take their inspiration from Mm’s canyon levels but they add enough touches of their own to make it worthwhile. Some neat character designs and a fun little story complete this level to make it a co-op adventure you don’t want to miss.
"Lands of Filth" A storybased adventure that brings Sack to a world where sackpeople have not been seen for thousands of years. One player experience.(watch video)
The Origami Killer. by Faith_rip/Faith_rip![]()
More plot unfolds in the third installment of this epic tale from Luos_Desruc. Witty and funny dialogue from the characters add a lighthearted touch to the level and the platforming looks as good as it plays. Excellent water areas with murky lighting and really well done rocks and some obstacles that will give experienced players a run for their money. I'm slowly being charmed by this series and can't wait to see what happens next!
![]()
Story levels have a habit of dividing the community. It's a shame that as a result of that divide, that so few people will play this charming level compared to the bomb survival levels that dominate the cool pages. If you can handle standing still for a bit to read some dialogue, give this a chance cos it's a cracker.
![]()
Luos_Desruc took a long break from LBP for various reasons, now back into the game, the creator is quickly producing some magnificent levels making you wonder why he left us in the first place. Being a very story based series, the creator can’t avoid putting in some plot revealing but he had the smarts of letting the player skip the longest cutscenes if so desired, making it more appealing to a wide audience. The platforming and puzzles you find in this foggy, gorgeous wonderland are all well thought out with those in the underwater sections being a real treat. His character designs are especially good as it hurt me each time I stomped one of those sack-hungry critters.
The Origami Killer, is a level inspired by HEAVY RAIN the new game of the french studio Quantic Dream. In this level, you go home after a hard work. The time is very bad and the walking is difficult... the street is empty and lifeless, you pass through the park when suddenly you discover ...!
Flooded Castle by Chicoleunis/Chicoleunis![]()
There are creators in the LBP universe that are specialists at what they do. You want arcade style mayhem you go to CCubbage, you want logic that will melt your brain you go to rtm223 & comphermc, you want immaculate visuals and rocking gameplay you go to mrsupercomputer or wexfordian. I mention these kings of LBP because if you want atmosphere - real world "you can feel the rain on your head, wind blowing in your face, holy heck what was that noise" atmosphere - you gotta go to faith_rip. Every level ramps up his brilliant use of lighting, sound design, 3D/bakscratch glitch backgrounds and story telling emersion. This level in particular will give you goose bumps. Brilliant architecture and use of cameras with minimal platforming make it easy to finish but hard not to be a little scared in. Fans of the horror/suspense genre levels of LBP take notice.
![]()
If you look up the word atmosphere in the dictionary, you just might find a picture of Faith_rip beside it. He truly cranked it up another notch with this one, taking player emersion to a whole new level. I’m not even going to attempt to compete with the wall of text above me so I will just take my leave with these final words: The real game better turn out as good as this!
![]()
I think this is probably the best looking level I've seen yet in lBP. Its absolutely beautiful, and filled with atmosphere and general scares. Although a little light on gameplay, you won't care when its as gorgeous and as generally unsettling as this.
In this level you can jump, swim, dive around and score bubbles while racing through the big flooded castle. You must dive through Stone squeezers, Jump, Swim and Run. Activate switches, find the best way and score points and all this as Race
Celestia: An Age Abandoned by Powershifter/Powershifter![]()
A fun underwater race level that players of all skill levels will enjoy. Go for big combos or just try and beat the clock all in a beautifully decorated castle environment. Fun platforming above water too!
![]()
With so many levels utilising water recently, it takes something special to float to the top of them, and this level is deserving of its place. Plenty of race gates., great point combos and some well thoughout material choices keep the level flowing nicely from beginning to end. If my water puns are bad, then fortunatly this level is the complete opposite, its fantastic!
![]()
For people who want an engaging, fun and beautiful level with water in, they need look no further. The creator of this one has managed to combine visuals and gameplay superbly to create a masterpiece which is deserved of your time, stars and hearts!
You're an explorer searching for a lost civilization. While excavating in the desert, you come across an old book. Flipping through it, your hand brushes against the pages, and suddenly everything goes dark...
Arctic by Vex_Doppel & Uirop/Vex_Doppel![]()
Fans of the Myst games need to check out this level. Totally nails the mysterious and wondrous atmosphere and puzzle style of the original game. It will require you to wander around and try to figure out what does what and what to do next. The whole world is a giant puzzle. Very neat level with lots of nooks and crannies and some awesome lighting effects.
![]()
The atmosphere in this level, and the sheer scale of your enviroment is staggering. It feels isolated, desolate and completely huge. The puzzles are very well thought out and require a bit of grey matter to solve, but its extremely rewarding. The ending section is worth the price of admission alone, its a joy to experience and play through. Take a journey to this place, you won't regret it.
This a light story level, there's a shortage of fish and the you have to do something about it. You travel and meet some of the animals in the arctic. Here's a pic of some friends that will help you along the way.
Elemental: Temple of Fire by Shawneboi/Shawneboi![]()
Stylized characters and very cold looking ice and water await players in this level. Adorable orca, seals, penguins, polar bears and indigenous people are wonderfully designed and help sackboy on his way through the icey landscapes. The lighting is done in such a way that the water really looks cold to me! A cute level that players of all ages and skills should enjoy.
Deep within the Earth's surface, Sackboy finds himself presented with a new challenge, The Temple of Fire! The first in a series of levels pitting Sackboy against the four elements, The Temple of Fire brings forth classic platforming with a few puzzles along the way. I tried to capture an underground feel in this "Fiery" atmosphere, and I hope you enjoy it!
Elemental: Temple of Water by Shawneboi/Shawneboi![]()
Firey and full of beautiful architecture, this is a bubble seekers dream level. Fantastic attention to details in the columns and rooms all done in a scale that is intimate without being claustrophobic. Great platforming and layer manipulation make for cool gameplay but not at a breakneck pace. A wonderful level all around.
![]()
As one of our newest members, Shawneboi impresses right away and thus landed himself a double spot on the spotlight with his elemental temple levels. The bubble junkies among you will go crazy over this one while the visual freaks will want to take it nice and slow, taking in all the details of this magnificent underground temple, add in some "hot" yet accessible gameplay and you have a level absolutely everyone can enjoy.
![]()
This was my first experience of Shawneboi's create skills, and I walked away more than impressed. Its an absoloute visual treat, packed with visual flair and detail. Its great fun to play, with some wonderful sections utilising all the layers to their full potential. A joy to play and look at.
The second level I've made in this series takes a slower pace than the Fire Temple. More puzzle driven, it requires the use of water to advance from chamber to chamber. I spent a lot of time trying to capture an Atlantis feel for level itself.
Sea Dragon by CCubbage/CuzFeeshe![]()
Making his second appearance in this spotlight Shawneboi's Temple of Water is just as cool as the first. The wonderful architecture with great material and textural choices continues and the overall look is clean, clever and just plain beautiful to look at. Water puzzles are well designed and at the same relaxed pace as the first level. The lighting and decoration is first rate too. I can't wait to see where this series goes in the future if these two levels are any indication of the quality to come!
![]()
Shawneboi...we meet again!! The 2nd level in his elemental temple series is even better in my personal opinion and dazzles with greater visuals & some wicked underwater gameplay. Short and sweet: bring on wind & earth!!
![]()
Two spotlights in one edition is no mean feat, but these two temple levels are more than deserving. Once again its packed full of detail, with some great point combos. The puzzles utilise the water really well, and although a little slower paced than the fire temple its still a enthralling level that I enjoyed throughout.
![]()
Ever wondered what a water temple would look like? No? Well you should have because this one looks amazing and there’s a tonne of engaging gameplay to boot! So strap on a snorkel and swim on down to the Water temple.
Sea Dragon is a recreation of the home computer game released in 1983. It's a side-scrolling underwater shooter featuring challenging terrain, tons of battleships, underwater mines, and cannons to blow up! Pilot a submarine through the open sea, into dark caverns, and finally blast your way through an enemy facility, destroying their nuclear core!
What Rock Stars Do Best by FULLGORR, Morgana25, Flareskull, OssumPossum/FULLGORR![]()
I'm very quickly running out of things to say about levels by CCubbage, every knows what to expect, brilliance, difficult but fair, and extremely addictive. All I can mention, that I haven't before in another spotlight edition is that this ranks as probably his best yet, and is a terrific spin on using water. Simply superb.
![]()
If CCubbage was “the king” of arcade inspired gameplay before this level came out, then he has now truly become a god. He keeps producing these brilliant and challenging masterpieces at an alarming rate that I think its about time somebody should go over to his house to see if the man actually has a pulse. You think know what to except, yet you are always baffled with his latest innovation in gameplay. His next level will most likely elevate him to the status “all mighty ruler of the arcade universe”.
![]()
I can't count how many hours of my free time I've spent playing CCubbage's levels. His knack for addictive arcade styled level play is well known and he's done it again with this little beauty. Strategy and persistence will be your co-pilots as you become a sub driver navigating your craft through harms way. Sounds easy right….. if so, you haven't had the pleasure of taking on a CCubbage creation. Good luck!
![]()
Ccubbage is making things hard for us on the Spotlight Crew – first he left the team, giving us more work to do, and now he keeps on churning out quality levels we have to keep commenting on! But let’s face it, who is going to complain when the levels he brings out are like this? Not me that’s for sure… although I am running out of great ways to describe them. Just go play it now.
He-hey duder, you ready for a wild ride? The level begins with your tour bus crashing, and what do ya' know, it was in a spooky graveyard! It finishes at a rock concert, but how do you get from point A to point... C? Well play the level and check it out! Not wanting to brag or anything... but it did come in first place...
LittleBugPlanet x2 Challenge by Catiers, xkapppax, Cuzfeeshe, Morgana/xkappax![]()
Mad. Thats the word that best describes this level. They say with genius there always a little bit of insanity and that about sums FULLGORR up. The level is one weird and wonderful section after next and is terrific to play and behold. A worthy winner of the beta competition.
![]()
Well I have to that I've never indulged in halucinagenic drugs, and thanks to this level, I'll never need to. A wild ride from start to finish indeed.
![]()
Some levels are just crazy, and this is one of them. That’s not a bad thing though because look at the phenomenal creators who were part of the team to make this. Several spotlights between them, numerous hearts and a great lot of love for them all, it’s truly a dream team! So go and see what rock stars do best!
Join xkappax, Catiers, CuzFeeshe and Morgana25 as they fight to complete their 2x challenge before the contest deadline is up! Can they make it in time before the bugs attack and wipe out their level!?
Kikaiwa: The Genesis Theatre by Vanemiera/Vanemiera![]()
A level chronicling the problems with the early Online Line create beta is most definetly a fun and varied 2p level. From the canyons, to castles, cystal caves to space, let our three LBPC members (and Catiers), along with Spaff guide you through a very funny level that features some awesome 2p challenges, a wacky cast of characters (the four creators included) and a really great story. It looked like it was great fun to create, and the fun certainly gets handed down to the player.
![]()
The OC beta was a frustrating place to be at times when fighting the many bugs that popped up with each additional update. Well, what better way to vent those frustrations then by making a level about it, right? That is exactly what CCubbage, Morgana25, XkappaX and Catiers must have thought as they created this hilarious multiplayer adventure. The 2x gameplay is well crafted and most importantly, a lot of fun. As Grant mentioned, you can almost hear the giggle fits these four creators must have had while building this quirky level. Some of the in-jokes might have some scratching their heads while others will just leave you in stitches. Participant of the beta or not, anyone will have a jolly good time running through this level.
As the title says, this time it takes you to the theatre. Some people who already know my style of level building might be suprised. First it's not an actual "level" and second it's not VR. The set as such is a neat little story of how the Kikaiwa(ergo all my levels) was created. So nobody can say now that the Kikaiwa has no story!

Put down your pad and watch (don't worry, you get some gameplay at the end to), for Vanemiera has designed a new way to incorporate cutscenes into LBP. Not only is it a technical marvel, but the story really is great to, and you may notice a few Sackboys along the way you recognise to :).

Vaniemera is on fire these days!! He finally decided to show us a sort of backstory to his long running, and brilliant I might add, KiKaiwa series. The story itself is just too much for a mere mortal to describe in words, I can tell you however that it is another technical masterpiece from Vaniemera that even holds a small surprise at the end, so just don’t get too comfy in your couch when viewing this wonderfully stylized showcase of Van’s talents and wit.

Brilliant storytelling from the mind of Vanemiera. The origins of the Kikaiwa in an amazingly choreographic stage cinematic. Thinking of how much work went into this makes my mind reel. Check it out and see why there's more to the Kikaiwa than meets the eye…. did ya see what I did there?
