What Would Sackboy Say? - A PSP Caption Contest - Round 3 **WINNERS ANNOUNCED**
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How do I enter?
Just save a copy of the photo above, add your caption or subtitle, and post it here. Whoever comes up with the best caption wins! Every two weeks a new picture will be posted and the fun begins all over again.
What should the caption be?
Anything really. Perhaps it's something Sackboy (or Sackgirl!) is thinking or saying. Your caption may be a public service message, or a dramatic movie poster title. Captions can be speech bubbles, signs, or even a short story if you like. The sky is the limit! (I don't need to remind you to keep it clean, do I?)
Wait, how the heck do I add captions?
There are many different ways. You can use just about any photo editing software there is to add subtitles, bubbles, boxes, whatever. Even Microsoft Paint will work and approximately everyone on Earth has access to that.
If you're feeling extra-fancy, however, I suggest you head over to Photobucket.com and grab yourself a free account. Upload the picture above, select "Edit", and go to the "Decorations" tab. You can do all kinds of cool stuff there, all for free!
Still having trouble? Don't be afraid to ask for help. We don't bite... hard. :p
The Prizes
Awards are given to the first, second, and third best captions as follows:- First Place: 250 experience points and the option to serve as a judge in the next round contest!
- Second Place: 100 experience points
- Third Place: 50 experience points.
The LBPC forum experience system (vBExperience) is still missing in action, but not for long. In the meantime, I will keep a tally of the experience awarded. When the system (or equivalent) is back up and running, I'll pay up! I swear, I'll pay! No, not the kneecaps!!!

The Deadline
The deadline for this contest is 11:59pm APRIL 18th, 2010 Greenwich Mean Time. Your entry must be received BEFORE MIDNIGHT GMT on the 3rd or it will be considered late. Just think how embarassed Sackboy will be.
The Rules
- You can submit up to two entries per round, although of course you can only win once per round.
- Any and all types of image editing are allowed.
- Participants cannot win twice in a row. This means that if you win this round, you can't win the next one. If you won the last one, you can't win this one. You can still participate of course, but just for fun.
- Judges may also enter the contest and participate, but just for fun.
- Read the disclaimer. Yes, we have a disclaimer. Read it or there will be NO SOUP FOR YOU!
The Disclaimer
By participating in this contest, you agree that you understand that the judges will make their decisions objectively, fairly, and in an unbiased manner. You also agree that there is no place for whining in an excellent contest such as this one, and any belly-aching or other distasteful behavior will result in public mockery and being pelted with soggy apricots. Finally, by participating you agree that the point of this whole thing, win or lose, is simply to have fun and enjoy yourself. This is, afterall, a video game.
The Judges
- Blasting Cap Taffey
- Hand Grenade jeffcu28
- Don't Light a Match CyberSora
How did you think of this awesome idea?
I didn't. I am blatantly ripping off the long-running and excellent PS3 Caption Contest. The current (creator) curator jwwphotos has been kind enough to endorse this PSP-flavored version of the contest. Thanks jwwphotos, you rock!
Be sure to check out the current round of the PS3 Caption Contest and upload a photo there too! The PS3 caption contest also uses a two-week entry period, but our deadlines alternate. That means there's a new contest starting every week!
Finally, a big thanks to jeffcu28 for yet another awesome banner and for providing the inspiration to put together this whole thing.
