Stranded on Treasure Island LBW4 by Fotosynthesis1

This is an entry for the LBW monthly contest, this month's theme being Golden Treasure. I know that hunting for pirate treasure is not exactly a novel take on the theme but this level by Fotosynthesis1 is definitely worth playing even so. The visuals are excellent, the gameplay varied and ingenious (especially the cannon mechanism) and the secret hunting is fun. The level is simply very enjoyable to play and very well made.

In fact Fotosynthesis1 has a number of other good levels that are also worth a look. Anyway here are a few photos to whet your appetite.

I played this during the weekend and really enjoyed it. And I agree that the cannonball thing was especially clever innovation.

Fotosynthesis is one of my favorite creators. Great fun gameplay and nice visuals in every level. A very productive author too. A new level almost every week. Just published a mini game called GRABBLE. I like the level Flushed the most, a platformer in a sewer environment, but recommend the whole batch.

Can't make my mind up about this guy yet. Good creator but while his visuals are good, still feels clumsy and overcrowded. Liked Flushed, but not enough to heart. This one here was also good, probably his best, but still cluttered.

I played this level the other day - great fun. I loved being shot in a canonball!

Highly recommended.

Today I played all of this guys levels for the first time. My favourite is the sewer. That's so good. Awesome creator.
