That picture is full of epicness indeed... I might even use it in my sig! Thanks mate!
As for art, I'm going back to my sackperson with headphones... I miss him quite fondly :(
Yeah, anyone who likes that gif:
It's from an animation called asdf movies.
Freakin' hilarious....
Seriously, look it up on YouTube - it's a billion times better with sound.
But that's going off topic...
Um... so... em... your... pictures... are like... nice.
Innit.
:p
Loving the new avatar(s) btw zim - I take it you're not going to do close-up requests when the requests are open again...?
Meh. I already have a zim pic anyway ^^
That pie thing is from ASDFmoovie, made by tomska on youtube!
He's my favorite british person!
I think he means that you won't be taking up-close-avatar requests.
But, people who already have a zim drawing, they can just crop out a close-up
True, but I think the subject at hand were the ones like for Fatal Fantasia.
Like Superdork said, you could close it up, but it wouldn't be the same. Only a few are looking forward and even then it isn't exactly the same.
Look what i did!

I'm really sorry for such a long time without artwork, the comic is really eating up my time. But trust me, you'll see something really great in a few days.
Wowza! I still don't understand how 3D art works, I've never tried it. Nice job!
Why thank you Zim ;).
And drawing on a 3D scale isn't as difficult as it seems. It's just like... Learning how to ride a bike. Start off by drawing simple 2D shapes, and use the Pull/Push tool to... well, pull and push them into a 3D figure. Same goes with a circle, and after you get the essentials down, drawing things like chairs, tables, even houses will seem fairly easy and fun! I highly recommend you try it!
Google SketchUp 8, it's called.
Oooohooo, I should post my 3D work here...
Nice house/cottage/one-room building by the way. :)
Well, everyone was posting there closeups so-
EXTREME CLOSEUP!!!

I like those 3D buildings and such illumination! I used to see a lot of that stuff, as my dad is an architect.
I can do WAY BETTER
*loads up SIMS 3* lol ;) jk

Awesome... I know. :kz:
Illum, you should really make a thread for all your 3D artwork, you're really getting good and I'd love to see a TV although it's entirely up to you.
Zim what type of drawing tablet do you use?
I use a Genius Pen Tablet. I do not recommend it.
For beginners, I'd recommend a Wacom Bamboo. I was thinking of getting a Wacom Intuos3, but they're pretty expensive...
No, the Intuos model is different from the Bamboo, they say it's more professional I guess, and has more features or whatever. Whatever tablet you decide to get, I recommend anything Wacom. You can read up on each model on their website.
GOOD DRAWINGSDUDEGIRL! YOUīVE GOT ALL-OT-OF SKILL.
Iīll ask for one! When requests open at winter, tough.
By tha way, Iīd recommend a Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch, i have one, and they are really good, they even include free software!, and for software use Open Canvas, preety realistic and easy to use, i didnīt had enough money for it, so I downloaded a portable version.
Thanks, I appreciate it. (You know I'm a girl, right?)
Yeah, I was considering either a Bamboo Pen or Intuos4, still trying to decide. Took a while to try and convince my mom that Wacom is the way to go, and getting a different brand may bring the same results as when I first bought this "Genius" brand tablet. >__>
I already have OpenCanvas (come to think of it, I haven't used it in quite a while, though), but I saw that the Bamboo Pen and Intuos come with Corel Painter and Photoshop Elements (Although I already have Photoshop 7, which is better...)
So in other words, I'm still trying to decide between Bamboo Pen and Intuos4.
