It looks as though the loveable Sackboy has been stolen for a Brazilian cartoon.

A new cartoon for a Brazilian children's show on SBT (a Brazilian television network) features characters that have an uncanny resemblance to LittleBigPlanet's Sackboy.

The opening to the cartoon can be found below thanks to XmurielnanetX and the resemblance hasn't gone unnoticed. One YouTube user comments: "LittleBigPlanet: Edição Especial Para Pobres," which translates to "LittleBigPlanet: Special Edition for Poor."

Moreover, the cartoon's characters also end up sitting on a logo featuring combined bits-and-bobs like the LittleBigPlanet logo, showing even more similarities.

How Sony will respond to the cartoon is currently unknown, with a case for plagiarism likely being difficult to undertake. Find the cartoon's opening below and let us know in the comments section if you think it looks like the PlayStation 3's LittleBigPlanet.

Woah ! Looks like blatant plagiarism to me. Just colouring them green doesn't make it 'original and different' and I'd be surprised if Sony don't get on the case pretty quick.

These "things" even wear at some point a really resembling spacesuit costume.. hmm, I'm waiting Mm's / Sony's verdict on this case.

That's what I think. And as said, it looks like they copied LBP in every way they can. Sony is gonna make some cash if they look up to this. :D

Yeah, same. I mean Sackboy has a general super-deformed humanoid shape, but... an astronaut costume AND an LBP-esque logo on an oversized skateboard? That's a little bit harder to slide as accidental.

I don't know about the copyright laws in Brazil, but I assume the creators might get in some hot water now that it's gone public. I'm assuming a C&D letter will be sent shortly, if it hasn't already.

Wow. It seems as if they went out of their way to make it look as 'LittleBigPlanet-ish' as possible. Just think about it; little toy-burlap-things roughly the same size and shape of a Sackboy. And to top it all off, an astronaut costume AND such a similar logo. Just wow...
