Little Big Planet 2 footage Pics

Hey guys I found some cool pics from the Little Big Planet 2 footage now you have a closer look at it. I only found 5 of them but if I find more I will update it. Also the pics I found them at Little Big Land but bad thing is that they are BIG :P

Nice pics. Looks like the mini-game shown in the last pictures makes good use of the new Radomizer too (assuming there is such a thing).

I'm very interested on how they created the RTS. I can't wait to do stuff like that.

I now I cant wait for the game to come out is going to be pic :P

This seems to suggest that Sackboy cannot walk on the wall....only a direct control seat can allow him too.

Though technically I suppose you could use Sackbots to circumvent this?

And if by making a "fighting game", MediaMolecule meant this as an example:

Why even bother?

Because it is a fighting game. I'm fairly certain it's impossible to make something as fantastic as Street Fighter or Tekken, but you can certainly get very close. DCS's and Sackbots will allow for this. Remember, you're pretty much only limited by your own imagination and creativity. ;D

This was one of the most entertaining created by us Jam folk, this one being made by jump_button. It's a sumo wresting mini-game, not a fighting game, and it was a blast to play with a friend. And no, sackboy cannot walk on walls. Neither can sackbots.

yea but still think back into the past and remember the game punch out we can probably create that but still you are right we still have creativity limits but again still we dont have LBP 2 so we dont know yet :p

I have to agree with comphermc on this one you just want to make people angry. Also this was created by jump_button and he is a really good creator.

Also thanks comphermc now we know sackboy cant walk on walls so is probably a camera angle of the direct control :p

Also I just notice that the fighting game pic look at the right and you can see a person that has the same color hair as this pic so I think is a decoration :D

its not a fighter you have to push the other out of the ring
it not bad to say i had 27 to lean the new tools and to make a mine game it was just a idea i wanted to try make somthing that i couldnt with LBP1

you can move the right arm and lift hands on they own or togeather or hold them to block, I never did fix the points on it and wish i make the hand look a bit more like hands. its a mingame you have to play and you cant hear the sounds they make lol

Now that is what you call creativity. That is incredible still that you have to create a mini-game level and learn how to use a new tool all in 27 hours That is impressible and some people still dont know how to use the tools in LBP1 lol

Not dissing jump's creation, but just saying if that is what Mm meant as making a "fighting" game (in other words, pushing people out of a sumo ring) then that's not really much of a fighting game and I wouldn't even bother. But I guess there's other things you can try out.

And yes, if you take the time to read my post history, I spend more time talking about my art, my level concepts, fawning over videos, and asking questions about features than I spend complaining or criticizing.

If people get angry about my criticisms, it's not my fault they can't control themselves over a dissenting opinion.

I happen to be very critical of my favorite games. Just the way I am.

No no no, jump, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel bad. I realize it was your first time on the tools and it's probably better than what I could do in one night with a strange, new toolset. I'm a fan of your levels, I've even said so on GAF.

I'm not knocking your level, I'm simply saying it's not much of a fighting game, and I was HOPING that Mm didn't mean to use examples such as your level to say that you can make a fighting game in LBP2, because that's not really much of a fighting game. It's more of a push someone out of the circle thing.

You have a point that everyone has its own opinion but still you have to take jump level into consideration that he build it only in 27 hours.

What I'm wondering though, what I haven't quite figured out yet, is if jump_button's level is a proper fighting game, or is it possibly something that's more about pushing, like say pushing your opponent out of a circular shaped design of some sort. What I mean is something that has fighting ELEMENTS, but isn't a fighting GAME per se, more of a, how shall I put it... a push-the-opponent-out-of-a-circular-ring-border-on-the-floor-while-an-audience-watches type of game. Has anyone clarified this yet?

dude yes we clarified it a long time ago also I wonder seen wend did the thread because about jump level lol ( I am not saying anything bad about you jump I enjoy your levels and I gave them 5 :star: and a <3 ) im just saying we talk about one thing the next thing you know we are talking about how sackboy can fly lol :p

You guys don't get what he means, jump's level is amazing for only 27 or so hours. However it would not go under the "Fighting" genre, which Media Molecule stated "You can make fighting games."

What he means is that is nowhere near a "fighting type" game. Media Molecule is misleading, kinda.

but I still have one more question why are be debating about a level and which genre it should be put into.

here are some genre that should be put into it: Fun, Creating, Impressible, Cool, Inspiring ect... they are like 20 more so why are we fighting about this!?
