Hey everyone, I wasn't sure If I should go out with this, but I am. I'm friends with the hoarder and he sent me a message a couple days ago. It was entitled "A Message" and said

Another code! Woot! Check back some pages for the decoder alphabet and look at what everyones pieced together so far from the codes, this may be one we have had already, but you never know!

I don't know if you guys now, but some of you act like we haven't recieved any information from The Hoarder. I thought I would add that we have been given enough info as of now. Sure, we have no clue on who is working on the project. We also have no clue what the story is. Though, the two teaser pictures and the message is already enough. You guys are not making any use to the information we've got at all. So I will be here and try to find clues of what we may know of the two pictures retreived.
Platformeranians: (1st image)
From what we know, the character may be from a tribe/race called the Platformeranians. He seems to be wearing a helmet with wings and a bottle of some unindentified liquid substance. This bottled liquid may be something to grant the people an effect. Either being energetic, flying, running or jumping. Also, it could be a decoration to the costume. It seems the person on the cover is wearing a tied up pillow. This can show that they play safe and secure. The background looks like it may be their city/culture area. In the very back right side, the house's wood fades away at the bottom. This could mean they live in the sky, or maybe live in an area with big heights. Maybe next to mountains to keep their structure if you want to be realistic. Also, maybe the tribe lives above sea? I don't imagine to see wood fading through the floor. Either the city floats in air, sea, and/or connected to a mountain/cliff. At the bottom of the teaser is the icon of a feather. This probably is their tribe symbol and colors.
Puzzling Teaser Art: (2nd image)
This tribe is very quite different than the Platformeranians. They're name is unknown as of now, but maybe their tribe name will involve "Puzzle." The character in the cover seems to wear a crown with leaves maybe, and metal. The character's face is too square like, which I find odd. This could mean that the crown surrounds everywhere but his face. More as of a helmet. I say this because the face is in a odd shape and his/her chin has another odd shape to it. Either the helm leads to the chin or the character has a goatee. If you look closely, it looks like some vine is connected to their right arm. (Your left) Maybe this can be a source of something. Either it can collect nutrients or feed off a power. Their style of clothing is very odd. The closest I could think of to a jungle based area is an Aztec tribe or a Native tribe. I'm more on the lead to an Aztec tribe because the silhouettes in the background. It could be geometric shapes in a jungle, but the first thing to pop up in my head was an Aztec like temple. It seems there is no floor in the background. Though, to be more realistic, I'm sure it's on floor rather floating in air. The Platformeranians can't be on floor because I'm sure skinney wood planks can not lift a house. Back to the Puzzle tribe. It seems they are probably an Aztec tribe with puzzles. At the bottom of the teaser is an odd icon. This is possibly their sign and colors too.
Okay, I'm done helping with the investigation. I hope you guys liked what I had to write. Anyways....

Nice theory Spark, I expect each tribe will have a group of levels specialising in different types of LBP gameplay. At least, I hope there will be more than one level :) You might have to play through each one of these worlds to stop the Hoarder, or maybe all the tribes will have to work together to defeat him. I am pretty sure now there are tribes, not just one character for each theme, however there might be single characters from each tribe that help you along you way.
*edit* I looked at the second attachment again and the characters in that level are certainly those in the poster.
Do you think the 'Platformeranians' refers to all the tribes or just one?
I can't work out what tribes the other two characters could be from though.

The people working on this project must be getting annoyed that The Hoarder refers to them as "minions".

Right, I have checked back on the thread and in light of new evidence (judge Dizzy, thats me :D ) Alismuffin, AFP and Salieri are definitely in on it or creating it.
