I play trombone (or as my band teacher calls it, gods instrument :p). I'm actually very good. I can hit the high notes, then go immeditlry to low notes. I have articulation problems though. Anyway its probably because I NEVER practice. I always get 1st chair though because I'm awesome at scales. Been playing for 3 years. I also play piano but I'm not very skilled. I quit once I started trombone. My music teacher taught me everything by ear which, in hindsight, was good because I now play trombone which is on a different clef. I can sing fairly well. Obviously when you know one brass instrument, it doesn't take long to know how to play them all as I can also play baritone and trumpet. I've been trying to get my band teacher to teach us to play the trumpet solo in [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jV1bRfLHA3A"]YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.[/nomedia]. The trumpet starts at about 1:30 and its a little hard to hear on this. It's much better on the itunes download. If anyone can find a vid or sound file of trumpet only, that would be great.

I played piano forever but hated. Sax for school but hated it. So I have a pretty good musical knowledge. Re(surprise, who didn't figure that one out) guitar. Since I pretty much know all the theory already I've been practicing the technical side quite a lot. Basically I play heaps of thrash so I've got my speed up a fair bit and I'm starting to get a 2nd sense for where to go but I can't for example find a note without thinking about it.
