"Thanks" on forum games?

has anybody else noticed this recently or has there always been no thanks on the forum games section?

As far as I know it's never been there. Well ever since this was posted.

It's intentional, as forum games generally lead to pointless thanking.

But when the rep button was still around, it was on forum games. :/
