The goo is a lie!

Cool, good questions to ask and awesome blog!
My fave bit:
No, but there will probably be someone in the community who makes one and shares it with everyone else.
Cheers.... I like the shiny new site too!
I am unclear on what he means by, 20 levels for LBP1 and 20 for LBP2. Because if it means I can only publish 20 levels in LBP2 despite my free space in LBP1, we are going to have a problem. But if it means, you get 40 slots in LBP2 than Ok, I can work with that.
Woo hoo! No H4H trophy!
Hopefully the adding to a list of creators will be added at some point.
You chose some good questions!
I am especially glad that I now know that I have 20 slots for LBP levels and 20 more for LBP2. No more uncertainty.
@LBP333 I think the max is 40. It would be cool if you can earn new level slots as you level up :)
Thanks for the input, I'll just have to wait for the game to be sure. The thing that was confusing me about it was if you are limited to 20 levels for each game why would you mention a different game instead of just saying you are limited to 20 levels for LBP2? I don't know...
By the way, I like the message underneath your name," I don't haz codes!!!! " Lol :p
Thanks for clearing up the confusion on those points. I only just remembered a question: will there be a way to store information for later use or use in another level (for RPG's)? Ah well, maybe someone can ask it at the UK meet. The answer's probably no anyway.
By the way, how was your visit? :)

Can we change the look of the creatinator
This is also not true. It will be a helmet.
So much for superhero levels. I'm not making a Green Lantern or InFAMOUS level where they shoot out superpowers if they have to wear a honky-donky helmet with tubes :(
Everything else is great, though.
How does it take up too many resources if it worked just fine? :( Oh well.Quote:
Will the layer glitch be an official tool?
No, it would, just like recording gameplay, take up to many resources. But they do hope it still works.
Mostly a list of disappointments, but it's okay since the rest of the game is so awesome.
disappointed 3D most likely won't be made in to a tool >_O
i mean really just make a it a tool where only material n objects
can only go back there just not things like logic etc
then it should be fine :I *mew
and WHaaa? we can still only make 20 lame levels?
why not 50 like MM? i was sure they said
"WE GET ALL THE SAME TOOLS AS MM"
Man Baamer.... :/
I only published around 5 levels in LBP1, but I made like 20, and with so many new reasons to make levels in LBP2....it'll be hard to restrain my uploading :<
You can still make superhero levels using sackbots pretty easily. And the 50 layer glitch does take up a lot of the thermometer.
How? You mean by putting an emitter on a Sackbot's hand? If that works then I won't complain, lol.Quote:

Remember that the physics model in the extra layers is fundamentally broken. If they were to provide a tool for it that would need fixing, otherwise they would be shipping a broken feature.
I don't quite see how that would be too much resource, but then we don't know how the layers are encoded and the fundamentals of what is going on.
In fairness though, the disappointments, one again, as is always the case every time the community gets dissapointed, is because y'all convinced yourself that this was going to happen. Numerous times people tried to say that the extra layers were not gonna be supported, I even tried to explain the at tweakable creatinator was misinformation in that magazine....
BTW, what's the deal with the goo?
Goo is, apparently, cake frosting made sticky.
Which, if I recall an interview correctly, is a new feature. You can make anything* sticky.
* which is to say, I interpreted that from that interview. I think it's one of the Gamescom Gamespot interview videos.
EDIT: So, in that line of thinking, everything is goo.
