The fact that the music writer is a devout Muslim should highlight that at the core of this issue is not about offending ‘all Muslims,’ but only about freedom of expression and the free market...
Keep in mind: It's not as if Jasser speaks for all Muslims or anything, but if his views represent most followers of Islam, it looks like Sony might have been trying to avoid a backlash that never would have come. What do you think: Is it better to be safe than sorry? Or should Sony have just ridden out any potential backlash?
