LBP PSP Rare Sticker Contest - Flying Machine

Here is the newest rare sticker contest!!! -The official thread-

The theme is flying contraptions (and no not faked flying contraptions TRUE flying contraptions).
But as with the theme there must be more than just flying functions, such as destroying enemies with it, etc...

The submitted level must be a level containing...
A : The contraption.
B : A demo of how useful the contraption is, along with all of its functions.


This time we are playing for a Hot-Out of photoshop new sticker, The 'Little Big Boffin!' golden sticker!

In total 5 'Little Big Boffin!' stickers will be given away.

Rules


* 1: No prior levels are allowed, levels submitted MUST be a new level.
* 2: The level may not contain anything that is against the LittleBigPlanet Online TOS.
* 3: No templates are allowed, be them community templates or built-in templates.
* 4: This contest is open to ALL regions.
* 5: This contest is for the PSP version of LittleBigPlanet. Please do not create and publish levels on the PS3 version of LittleBigPlanet for the purpose of entering this contest.
* 6: Each player may only submit one level for the contest. Any further submissions will automatically be disqualified. Only your first entry will be accepted.
* 7: Editing your level, for whatever reason, after publishing is allowed, as long as you do not alter the level majorly.
* 8: Must be published by October 15th. 11:59 PM CST.




How To submit your level.

To make your level eligible for entry you just simply have to reply to this thread, stating both the level name and the PSN ID that it is published under.

Final Notes.

All correctly submitted levels will be downloaded from the LBP servers as soon as possible after the deadline, no levels will be downloaded/played before this date.
Judging will be based on a number of factors, namely: originality, and use-ability. Stats, such as hearts and star ratings are not taken into effect.
I do not have a timescale as to how long the judging will take, but we aim to complete the judging as soon as possible after the deadline.
We also will not be replying to posts asking if we have seen your level yet. If your level has been submitted correctly, it will be seen.
And, as always, the judges decision is final.

I will be updating the thread (on moday hopefully) with a pic of the new sticker ^_^ as soon as Ace sends me a pic (although I think he was having a few probs getting it).

by that I ment not glass track and springs type flying, I meant true by-its self flight using rockets or peach floaty etc...

Yes anything in the level, make it look like a level based around the flying machine though, try to showcase it more than the level itself...

Also just one thing make sure you have a peice of the level (doesn't matter where) where the flying contraption you create is by itself so we can get a good feel for just it ;)

Hmm, my Voot Cruiser was a true flying machine, so I might enter this! My skills have gotten a lot stronger by my training in Dagoba with master Taffe-I mean Yoda!

The funny thing is that a few days ago, I thought of a UFO design that was NOT a TRUE flying machine. Do you think I should try making one that IS a TRUE flying machine?

I've made this sick machine that's powered by a jetpack! I have to make a level for it now.

Alrighty, I've got a question: Is it more important to make an awesome vehicle with few applications in the level it is in, or is it better to make a vehicle that strongly applies to the level it is in.

I'm having a hard time telling if you want to have a cool level with a flying vehicle, or if you don't care at all about the level and you just want to have a vehicle.

Does this make any sense? It's cool to see a big detailed vehicle with a bunch of functionality, but personally, I would prefer a vehicle with less functionality but a cool application to the level it is in. But that's just me :)

Try to get a good mixture of it, I know there will be levels where the flying machine will be epic and the level maybe not as much and vice-versa. It's not so much a level contest though, more of a contraption contest so if anything spend time on the vehicle (but don't just throw together the demo level in the last 5 mins.)

I really cant just make a good looking vehicle in an empty backround so im going for a scenic level Oh and can i make a flying animal or creature?

Even I don't know right now, Ace is working on getting me a pic of it though ;)

any type of 'Contraption' (anything basically) is acceptable as long as it can fly and has useful functions ;)

Well I should start on making the level then. I've been playing all of Ali's levels recently...I think I'm addidcted...So he is cheating!!!
