I can't use the pod controller, all I see is this:

When I join a friend I see the same thing... :(
When he's using the controller I get this:

And when I try to import a profile it says I can only do this when I'm in my pod...
Someone help me... :(
It's all over the beta forums. It goes away on it's own randomly.

I've had this happened to me and I was freaking out when I couldn't access the pod computer!
To fix it. Join a friend then quit. It should put you on the pod computer.
anytime I am overly crowded by a giant piece of denim I also become scared.

i cant use the pod controller!
When i first got the game, i tried to get my CE bonus, trying to enter the codes! But it didnt work so i thought : I'll try later..
So i started playing LBP2, i played the intro and got in my pod, everything was fine yet!
I quit the game, download the costumes and stuff and now i'm stuck in this earth-pod :\
Am i the first one to have this problem? :frightened:

Oh crap, this bug was in the BETA! It made many people's BETA profiles mess up and they couldn't play the BETA again. I thought Media Molecule patched it D:
Well I got it in the BETA too, restarting the game helped me.
That looks really annoying, I heard someone mention a bug where a decoration in their Pod was huge! Not sure if this is the same thing...
Unfortunately, you are not the first. This was a very large problem in the beta, and it occurred if you changed your PSN avatar (Which, by the nature of the problem, I assume you've done). A way to fix this is to join a friend who is also playing LBP2. Until then, just switch your PS3 off.

Alright, i restarted my PS3.. (didnt think about doing this before.. xD)
Now my pod is totally FINE! :D
So if this happens to anyone, just reset your ps3 :)

Wish I saw this post earlier, I ended up deleting my save file when it happened to me :(
I too have this issue. I can duplicate it the same way. You play the intro, quit, then install CE DLC. Start up and the earth is inside your pod and you can not use a controller.
I can also confirm that if you only restart LBP2 it does not fix the issue.
I can also confirm that restarting the PS3 DOES fix it. Thanks to the users above.
Restarting the PS3 fixes it for me as well.
I've also heard unplugging your ethernet cable has also solved the problem.
I have the same problem. Happend right after dowloading CE DLC as well. Glad to hear that restarting my PS3 will fix it. IM going to go try that now. I will let you know if it works for me. I thought someone brought over the god glitch or something.
I got a fix for this. I joined my friend who put us into a Create Mode level, he kicked me. i returned to my pod normal with out. I had the same glitch too

I just sent MM a letter, it goes as follows:
I played LBP2 all the way it was awesome great job, i went back to account management and downloaded my collectors edition stuff (costumes) and then when i went back to LBP2 my profile was all messed up. It looked like the earth and the pod had fused together, half the pod was not visible because the earth was covering it. also i couldn't access the control and basically all my data is now corrupt. i deleted my LBP 2 to restart and it worked fine. But this time i downloaded the special edition before doing any story levels and again it messed it up !!!
I'm assuming i shouldn't download the extra content but umm i kinda want it lol. So please contact me back and let me know what up ?

Delete the LBp2 Data.. Was that kind of dumb i don't think so.. I think it has something to do with the way that it imports your LBP1 Profile..
This was a bit annoying.. I never did get to play much last night after loading all the content etc... But this will be fun in the coming weeks..

I had this problem in the beta and I fixed it by:
Going into LBP1, and reseting my profile picture to the default psn pic.

That's exactly what I would've done... Assume it's the CE only affected, and send MM an email about it prior to researching to see if anyone else had the problem and if there was a fix...
I had the same crazy glitch in my pod after changing my avatar to one of the new LBP2 ones. I also do have the collectors edition extras downloaded already. Restarted LBP2 and the PS3 and now its fixed :)<3
Theres a lot of glitches in this game, unfortunately.
I can change my avatar with no problems (ahem, okay, my LBP avatar tends to change back to the previous ones randomly, weird...) but the first time I did and tried playing, I had the glitch. Happened once, first time I played the game online. Panic. Then I just reset the PS3.
