What do level creators do exactly, I must ask? Are they essentially a jack of all trades?
hm... i dunno...
i can build some fancy gameplay stuff but it's mostly destroying the whole theme for the level or looks way too pretty and makes the thermo asplode everything sky high!
But after all i've had people at my never-published-levels and they where totally amazed and whent "DOOOD... FINISH. PUBLISH. IT'S EPIC..."
GAH maybe someone could just join in create mode and see if i am of any help? i can't judge myself!

What individual talents do you have in LittleBigPlanet creating:I do lots of logic, mainly top down shooters, racers and such. I am moderatly good at level design, but the controlinator is my strong point.
What are some of your most noteworthy levels?: Street Racer Championship, and My work-in-progress "Sword of the Heavens"
What other talents do you think will assist the team?:Ideas, and material selection (i seem to have an eye for it...)
I've played Littlebigplanet for upwards of 2 years, but I started making real levels in 2010, so I guess that classifies me a n00b. Trying to get noticed.... Failing at it.... wallowing in self pity.... yeah

What individual talents do you have in LittleBigPlanet creating?: I'm pretty good with making nice scenery and objects. I love to make crazy logic pieces. You can ask Asbestos101, I've helped him out a few times with some logic conundrums back in the day!
What are some of your most noteworthy levels?: Well, i don't have any levels anymore. Lost em all :( But I am working on a few currently. I guess you could look up my lbp1 level Super asteroids. I made that on my old account, Lost all my info for it, still trying to find it all D=. PSN: Littlewit. It's a pretty nifty little survival challenge I made for a contest. It did pretty well, but was beat out by a simpler concept :(.
What other talents do you think will assist the team?: I hope my logic abillities will heplp you out and I'm capable of creating any level you might need me to do. I'd also like to think I could provide some funneh's for the group ;D

Lol oddly this whole thing kinda sounds like an idea I've had floating in my head since the game came out. I planned on making 13 story levels about saving the world from a war, and making a Space station where you can find it all and with a bunch of mini games.

Were/Are you a participant of the LittleBigPlanet 2 Beta? Unfortunately, nope.
What individual talents do you have in LittleBigPlanet Creating?: As mentioned in mah old post, I work with the Music Sequencer and rig up Cinematics. But, in the space of time that I posted that, I've significantly improved in visual design. I'm currently working as a Design Guy for Final Fantasy: Project Crystal, creating some mean looking scenery.
What are some of your most noteworthy levels?: I now replace my affections for The Mechman Saga with Steampunk Plaza...oh my, that rhymed, I'm feeling all Seussical ;) It's a level based on the Steampunk genre and, imo, I think it looks rather dapper. Of course, my opinion can't get me a job, unless I'm a telemarketer. I've still got the Music Gallery up and running, if that can be classed as a third prize of sorts :3

Do you own a microphone?: Most definitely. And I LOVE acting on it xD.
What individual talents do you have in LittleBigPlanet creating?: Ok, just to warn you: logic is NOT my strong point (or, well, the old method anyways; those microchips are really handy). Most of my talent is in making things look "attractive" and "appealing", so I have extensive skill in decorating, stickering and prop designing. Vehicles with simple logic have been a staple of mine, unfortunately (though now I'm experimenting with more advanced-logic, like making a top/down pirate ship with realistic steering and wind effects; which by the way, is looking pretty sweet). I guess my biggest talent is my "wit"; as in, I always seem to put personality and life into my creations, whether that be a carboard cut-out or an advanced sackbot. Usually, my final result is a level that's very vibrant and welcoming, and usually provoking a laugh or two.
What are some of your most noteworthy levels?: Eh... well... the only level that's ever got over 100 plays is Fairy Tale: Merlinwood, my first level on my old account. It looks like crap, and it's somewhat short, but it's the personality that's earned it so many plays. I've attempted to make other levels to garner people's attention (The Pillars, LBPD: Bomb Squad), but never got so far in terms of plays. My best creation was actually a part of a level, the LBPC: FOHG minigame. I basically crammed a room with the most ridiculous obstacles and traps I could think of, all revolving around my now-dead group Outlaw Flyers. It recieved the highest score from the LBPCTG staff, and Rock (before the thermo limit caught up to the level) commisioned me to make another room. It would've been based on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and it was good. Sadly, due to LBP1's thermo limitations, it didn't make it into the final level.
What other talents do you think will assist the team?: I'm good at advising, criticizing, and stuff story- and art-related. As you know, my boss/compadre (aka Shadowcrazy) is amongst your ranks already, and your boss (aka Night Angel) is on my PSN friends list (though we've really got to hang out more; my fault :\). I'm the writer for Fatal Fantasia (which we're still working on, btw), I've been around LBP since week 1 of it's launch (though not online 'til week 2), and I've been on LBPC since the beginning of '09. And my only concern... I hope I don't really disappoint you guys. :(

I admite, i am a newb, but i have strong spirit, smart nerves and a horrible inglesh >=D Just give me a chance! For now, i can try too help to level maker!
Quick tip: If you have a level to show off or even just images or video of your stuff, you are probably much more likely to be accepted.

hey i wouldn't mind helping out i have plenty o unpubblished levels "mostly because im a total competionist" but if you join me in create for a brief time i can so you my mighty complex AI. enemy or ally AI is my thing it seems, as well as gameplay mechanics. my psn is, like my username here dragonights. and i would be entering in the so much logic it blocks out the sky catagory :P. i will be pubblishing a test level tommorow showing my kingdom hearts AI, took 3 weks to make -_-. also it contains a falseto swimming ability for sackbots, as a litle bonus i through in, i would rather meet in create mode if thats ok with you

My special skills include:
Keeping Gameplay fresh, fun and multiplayer friendly, and all within a specific theme! I gladly take others ideas into caring, and warm consideration, and I will gladly take others opinions and suggestions of my own work seriously and with extreme importance.
Making things look nice is also another one of my speical skills. My "Crazy Canyons" level would'nt be much without my quirky sense of style and creativity. It was also mistaken as a MM level by more than a few of my friends! ;)
Other than making things extremely fun and good looking, I also love making things as simple to understand if anything about what im working on is foggy. Communitcation is key!
Speaking of communication, I have both methods of speech in the LBP world: The official PS Controller- attaching keyboard, and A small, bluetooth earpeice.
(Im planning to purchase a high quality Headset soon)
My other beneficial skills towards this projects would have to be my knowledge of the DCS (Direct Control Seat)
I can make almost anything move in perfect harmony with all of its components, but also keeping the controls simple, and easy to understand.
Im also very adapted to working with a team, but if im faced with A task I must tackle alone, I can be a very reliable person to get it done.
I guess the biggest weakpoint for me would be complex logic, But if it's explained to me, I can understand it pretty quickly.
Thanks a ton for giving me this oppertunity, and I would be very pleased to work along side you, and the other amazing creators who love building things as much as I do.

Do you own a microphone?: No, but I do have a keyboard and I dont type freakishly slow
What individual talents do you have in LittleBigPlanet creating: I consider my self to be a decent environmental creator and have some good logic skill (most wont be needed because of others) I cant make the best characters but I can create some good gameplay flow, if you get what I mean
What are some of your most noteworthy levels?: Ruins of Ablion (my favourite and my latest which I consider to be my best), A Brocken Paradise (both of these levels are spotlighted) and Arbian Ruins (I only keep this level published to show others har far I have come in creating). I have two videos of my levels, my best and by this your will probably see if I am good enough.

I personally think the story is kind of meh... or at least what is written in the first post. I think that the "young stranger sackboy" should have a history with sackboy from before LBP1 with cutscenes. Like for example:
Start a Introduction Level right after Negativitron has been defeated have a sort of teleportation effect and a sackboy appear from there. Then that sackboy would give his little speech with flash back cutscenes like explaining many different things like how him and Sackboy met at first (before LBP1) and have that sackboy act like if he were a hidden helper along sckboy's journey. Then you guys could even include some things into the story like explaining how some of the characters from LBP1 are in Eve's Asylum. That way you guys could create an awesome level and at the same time compete for crowns. Also you guys can add much more than just cooperative levels probably add a versus level.
I don't know, I'm not good at story's but this is what my mind thought when I was reading the first post
